They opened on Small Business Saturday. We bought stocking stuffers and met some of the horses. Learned about their training program and walked the trail to see the other animals. It was a great time!

Love this place!

Although this is geared a little more towards children, our large group comprised of 7 adults and 4 children (ages 11,10,8 and 1.5) had an extremely wonderful time!

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the concession area had a good food selection and was very clean. I have been to several other farm style venues and this was the cleanest and most well cared for that I've seen especially considering it was established in the early 70s. You can tell this owner cares about their animals and staff.

The animals are all very sweet and gentle and very used to being touched and hand-fed. The pony rides were excellent and even my toddler was able to get on and safely have a ride. There are even several docile mini horses and an adorable sheep that roam freely on the property and approach for treats and petting!

We participated in the hands-on grooming session which was SO fun! They also had a new wagon ride available that we did not take part in but plan to the next time we go. All the shows were well done and about 30 minutes in duration and adorable. You were really able to see the horses personalities. The "unicorn" Mystic, was a crowd favorite and you can have your picture taken with her after the show.

Our group felt that the admission price was appropriate, especially after seeing how well the property and animals are taken care of.

I will definitely be back next season!

I had the best time here with my family this past weekend. I hadn't been here in 38 years and the improvements the newest owners Bill and Maggie have done have been amazing and they aren't finished yet.:) There are no hidden rooms or back areas of the farm where you can't see behind the scenes. You get to see everything! That means you can see how well the animals are treated here. There are donkeys, emu, camel, peacocks, pigs, big horses and lest us not forget the little horses as well. They really take care of this place and it's so refreshing to see how the staff really cares about these animals. I couldn't have had a better time! Thank you Bill and Maggie and all the staff at LOLH. You helped me re-live a bit of my childhood and I am forever grateful!

Very nice fun park. Free parking. Reasonable entry fees. Senior discount available. Show schedule spread out over the day. Eatery on property is clean and food Is freshly made to order. Prices very good and portions big. Hot dogs, burgers, pop corn and sandwiches with sodas available. Kids enjoyed feeding the animals. Trainer works very hard training several horses. Nice to see all their horses released to a large open field to graze and relax at the end of the day. Watch out and check your change when buying things as some staff not up to speed on handling cash. This attraction is recommended for young children. They also have pedal carts to use at no charge. Kids loved them. Had a nice day here.

It was a great place. My family and I had fun seeing all the ponies, goats, and their 1 sheep. I do recommend this place to anyone. All the animals are friendly as well.

For $80 for 3 adults and 2 kids, I would at least have expected a little bit more cleanliness and or attention to detail. The vibe I got from this place was very unsettling, I wouldn't bring my kids back if it was free.
Side note if you read this and still decide to go bring your own hand sanitizer not a single station I saw had any.

Awesome for the whole family! The horsers and other animals on the farm are all well cared for and happy, there is a nice gift shop, and they have a clean snack area with reasonable prices, and a show that is magical for the kids! Highly recommend for a relaxing family outing.

It is great for the kids. My 4 year old loved it, and even my 13 year old thought it was fun. I've never seen my young one sit and be quiet like she did for the little show that they do. I would recommend this for anyone with young kids.

Interesting with lots of animals - not just little horses, but geared for pre school or early elementary (we had teens with us).

This little place is sweet and charming and a fun relaxing place to take all ages but especially accommodating to very little ones. Disappointed that through the years they've gotten rid of the train ride carousel and antique auto barn. Food is ok and very reasonably priced. Animals are super friendly and staff very polite and helpful even the youngest staff members.

Great place to take children for 2 to 4 hours. There's a variety of activities plus they can get very closed to the horses.

I was amazed at how calm the animals were. It was an unplanned visit. I seen the sign and went to look. Had fun. Great place for kids. Minus one star for the price. But they rely on that to feed the animals so it's understandable.

Fantastic place to take the kids for a few hours to be around all sorts of farm life. From horses to donkeys, emus to peafowl, they have it all. The staff are very well versed in horsemanship and the horses love the attention. The barn, arena, stalls, etc.are very clean and the prices are very fair.

Highly recommend!

It was Meh.understaffed, cafe food was absolutely awful, some of the animal pens seemed over grown, out dated, and not kept up.they were clean however and all animals looked healthy.the shows were ok for kids.the entire atmosphere was like a traveling circus.there was little supervision around animal pens.

Fun feeding the horses and Great fun for my granddaughters. The pony rides were a little short though.

The animals are friendly, the show is cute but a bit like watching your friends kids with their trained pets. The people are nice.

We enjoyed the show, although it was short. Not as good as it used to be. Seemed kinda pricey for what it is. Enjoyed the peacocks and turkeys. Not much else to do here.

Update, many birds (or whatever they were) have large open sores, curly pigs are matted, and there are ticks on back animals. Ride on stuff was a lot of fun. Horses look healthy other animals not so much many with open sores. No signs to tell me what kinds of animals or any history like when you go to any other animal attractions
Go visit the Sanctuary instead
