Landmark Americana, University City reviews
21Great food love the fries and cheese reminds me of chuckles and Pete’s. I also like that my food is always hot and ready when I order. Great customer service btw.
I placed a order on Uber eats my food was burnt and had liquid and the bottom of my container I call the restaurants for the person that answered was very rude and I was brushed off I was told oh well call Uber eats and get a refund. I won’t ever be on seeing for this restaurant again.
I use to always come to this place because their crab dip was so delicious.well today I got my hopes up and the crab dip was watered down cheese dip literally (no meat). Shame on you for serving something so awful. Gave a two star because the wings was good
I'm a bit on the fence as far as the food. I had the Asian braised short rib tacos. As a foodie I would say they were good, but as a chef I felt like it Definitely could have used a lot more Asian flavors to really give it that umph. The nachos were good, I would have rather had the pulled chicken that it advertises verses chicken chucks. Overall though they were tasty, the serving size for the nachos was definitely a lot which is a good thing if you plan to go with friends. My daughter had the Asian chili wings which were just ok. Overall I would probably go back to maybe try other menu items, because the prices weren't super bad.
We have been to landmark multiple times but our last experience left us not sure if we will return.
My husband and I each got a burger along with 1 alcoholic beverage and our bill was $75. Upon looking it over, my husband was charged $18 for a long island which is ridiculous. The 20% tip was also included in our bill (which we don't have a problem with, and would have tipped 20% anyways). My issue was that after our card was swiped, we were brought over the receipt with the blank "tip line" and "total" without our original receipt. I think it would be really easy for a customer to overlook that tip was included on the original receipt and end up getting screwed out of double tipping.
Either way the $30 total for 2 drinks (one long island and one blueberry Moscow mule) is ridiculously overpriced.
Service was great, draft and bottle beer selection was large, and many local beers too! The pretzel sticks were the best appetizer. Nice local restaurant!
I'm so upset I had the Americana breakfastWhen it came out everything was cold only warm thing was the pork sausage the cheese of the eggs were hard was a new cheesy the cheese inside of the home fries will horrible the only good thing was the bacon
Had the worst experience. Went to the Landmark on 34th street first, went and got out on the list for a table, waited 35 minutes for a text saying my table was ready. Never received it, went to the waiter and he never put my name on the list. It was 4 other parties complaining about the same thing. Left there and went to the Landmark on City Ave. Got seated quickly the waiter came and took our order for drinks and appetizers. When the food came the waiter left and never came back. We waited 40 minutes still no waiter, wereacked another waiter down to get our waiter so we could order our food. Our waiter finally came we placed our order and after waiting 30 minutes for our dinner my burger came uncooked. The waiter never refilled our beverages never asked if we were ik as we waited. When the waiter finally returned he gave us a bill with $20 gratuity added to our bill. We had a party of 3. I'll do everyone a favor, please don't go to any of their locations. The food was bad the service was bad and the manager states even if it was a party of 1 they would add gratuity. Save your money or choose another restaurant that has better service.
Pretty cool bar/restaurant; family friendly, but on weekends, it's a cool sports/college bar. Food's delicious and interesting; pretty reasonable prices as well! Service was a lil.slow. I would recommend having wings with garlic parmesan sauce wings.
They also have the students discount.
OMG! If you love hot wings you HAVE to try Landmarks "I dare you" wings! So good! So HOT!
Landmark has really good deals for food and drinks after a long day at work I come quite alot. Love the cheesteak eggrolls and Old Bay Fries.
The service was okay, I kept having to ask the server over to refill my water. The food was bad. I got pancakes, pretty difficult to mess up, but they came soaked through in butter or griddle grease. The only redeeming factor is that they have a really good Sunday brunch discount for Penn and Drexel Students.
Landmark Americana is a 5-location mini-chain that serves mediocre food and beverages, mostly on college campuses (Drexel, Rowan, TCNJ, etc.) there is nothing special or unique about any of these places, especially the menu. The service staff seemed confused and overwhelmed. The food was.fine. Not good or bad, but fine. Go to New Deck Tavern, White Dog Café, Distrito, or City Tap House instead.
One of the nicest happy hours in ucity! Always deliver on their happy hour food and drinks menu.
This place is only still here because the location is good and college students dont care what they are eating. The food comes out dry, overly spicy, with too much sauce, under/overcooked, and the wait staff is average at best. Unless you are stuck going here or need to take advantage of cheap specials.roll the dice somewhere else.
Took an hour to get our burgers & fries (overpriced), the waitress forgot! The tables & chairs super greasy, need a nice cleaning!
Dropped in for a quick beer and a soup. The wait staff was not overly friendly and it was not the cleanest restaurant I ever frequented. Not the worst spot in the world, very convenient location - but there are better places a few blocks away.
Good food, long wait for appetizers to be delivered followed very closely by entrees when we didn't even get a chance to make a dent in appetizers. Otherwise food was top notch.
Our waitress Erin forgot to put our order in, after waiting for 45 minutes and then tells us she lost our order form.then added $34 for gratuity when she barely did anything. When we finally did get out food our table was filled with dishes and she never came and cleared them off.poor service.very poor service. Erin gave waitresses and the location a bad rep.
If you dont have 2 hours to waste, dont go there.super slow.we waited for about 15 minutes before a waitress showed up (after my husband asked the receptionist). Then we ordered two salad and some hot water.then another 15 minutes for the water.do not go!
