Lansdale Family Dentistry

It took me 7 months after we moved to Hatfield to find a dentist who had an appointment available. My husband and I are appreciative that we found Lansdale Family Dentistry. I had the best cleaning in my life from Umair, and I had a cavity filled painlessly by Dr Natalie. All staff who I encountered are kind, considerate and perform their jobs skillfully and efficiently!

I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. The doctor is very thorough with her work. The deep cleaning I received today was absolutely wonderful.

Clearly profit motivated with suspect business practices. Went in as a new patient, as did my wife. We were both told we had a bunch of cavities. They filled all cavities in one appointment and the results were neither of us being able to chew for six months without pain. Multiple complaints ended up with no resolution. They also said we had to get cleanings every 3 months because our gums were horrible. Magically at our new dentist our gums are fine. I highly recommend you beware of this establishment.

My assistant was very polite. Doctor was very informative and continuously asked if i was okay while informing me of what he was doing during my procedure. Definitely recommend and thank you for the comforting experience as root canals arent much fun!

This is a very good place. From my own experience, I can say that you will not be deceived here by imposing unnecessary and expensive procedures. The doctor will describe the real state of affairs, do all the work with high quality, and at the reception they will tell you the best way to apply the payment into the insurance.

Had a crown recently installed. The crown was made ahead of schedule and they made sure my bite was comfortable. Also the office people are very kind.

Its really hard to find a good dentist, and my experience coming here was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, and they did an amazing job on my teeth. Very welcoming atmosphere and clean. Always a pleasure when you have a receptionist that is very friendly and beautiful. I definitely recommend this place, as I have told friends and family already.

Dr. Shtawi is THE BEST! I usually feel anxious at the dentist, but I felt like I could trust her which put me at ease. She really listens and always made sure I understood what she’d be doing. My work came out great. I recommend her to anyone.

It's been awhile since I had a teeth cleaning but Umair made it quick, easy & comfortable for me. Can't appreciate enough how thorough he was! Thanks again LFD & Umair!

If you want a professional, friendly and educated practice, this is the one to go to. I have never been explained the status of my teeth on my x rays or been diagnosed for issues that were overlooked and poorly caused by other dentists! My experience here was beyond my expectations and I’m glad to have found them.

I love my hygienist, Hina. She is professional, an expert in her area, gentle and is always concerned about my comfort as she cleans my teeth and I value her counsel. As such, I always set up my appointments so that I can be assured of having her do my teeth cleaning if possible.

Great practice and excellent staff. Everyone works well together to insure you have a great experience. Umair is the best hygienist they have, he will make sure you are comfortable and he will make best humor to make you laugh too. My last appointment i had routine cleaning he did an excellent job. So if you’re new to the area or just looking to switch dentist's this is the place for you.

This practice is very good in what they do.
I am able to schedule appointments to fit my schedule.
They accept many types of insurance.
The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and get the work done with a smile.
I recommend this practice.

This office uses some really questionable billing practices.

Paid for a visit using my Flexible Spending Account. I also have Dental Insurance and got an EOB outlining my exact costs, asking for an explanation for over-payment ($40) beyond the negotiated rate.

Called the office to enquire why they overcharged, but was given a run-around saying that was it was for a co-pay, when I didn't have any. Submitted that to the FSA office and that was denied.
On the second call to this office, they claimed it was for a deductible. This was also flatly rejected by the FSA administrator.

Called back the office and I literally had to yell at the person answering the call (BTW, it's the same person that I got on all three calls) before he transferred me to someone who suddenly claimed her account had a credit of exactly the same amount in question.

Now they are in the process of refunding the FSA administrator, saying that it could take upto 5 business days. Until it reaches that account, my FSA card has been suspended.

Scrutinize everything that this practice charges. If it weren't for my FSA administrator that $40 would have just gone to their pocket.

Thanks for making my recent visit so pleasant. Everyone is so nice at this office, and takes the time to talk to you. Considering I never liked going to the Dentist, I enjoy my visits at Lansdale Family Dentistry.

We saw Dr. Targan for a consultation. He explained everything that would happen in a procedure I was considering, was very thorough and patiently answered my questions.
