11 This general store makes hot & cold sandwiches? And other items. And they have HOMEMADE CAKES &SWEETS! Old grandma's style w/ coffee in the chocolate cake and apples in the apple cinnamon cake. Cheesesteaks took maybe 20 min made fresh and sooo worth waiting.
Enjoyed taking those 20 min looking around at how the whole store is also a display of collectibles and antiques. Lots of old original tins and packages for familiar brands and items that stir up nostalgic feelings for people.
There are tables to dine in and there is a nook next to the bookshelf. So can I read the old books on the shelf while I eat?
Went in to use atm and took a while cuz it's dialup. Picked up the best chocolate with peanut butter icing cupcakes in the area!
Very good few very comfortable place to enjoy your meal people are friendly very good I highly recommend it
Joe is the rough and tumble kind with a heart of GOLD. This is my almost daily stop and not for amazing food (try his chicken salad) but they are all knowledgeable and helpful. If Joe doesn't have it, he knows where to get it!
1st time stopping through. Great store the home made treats very well done. Cheese steak was top shelve stuff. I will return.
I went in to use the ATM and it said $2 charge I check okay and I have a receipt for $22 dollars. But they charged me $24.50 when I looked at the chime app which doesn't charge fees. So this joint ripped me off for $2.50 I would have still used the atm if it said it charged $4.50 because it's in the middle of nowhere and I really needed the $20 to buy something on FB marketplace. BEWARE THE ATM.
Waited 20 minutes for a blob of burnt grease * fried pickles* no one wore masks.waste of money I tossed in garbage.cashier pulled out beef sticks with her bare hands while taking money and credit cards.yuk!
Got the "special ribs and mac and cheese dish" ribs were dry and overly chewy, they advertised Mac and cheese but I got maybe one scoop of rock hard noodles and probably a whole can of corn all over my food. Definitely will not be returning.
Best Italian hoagies And chicken cheeseteaks hands down. Great breakfast sandwiches too! A must try! Great service!
