Lazaretto Ballroom, Essington PA

We just had our wedding at the Lazaretto on 9/2/2023 & it was an absolute dream come true!
From the very beginning their coordinator Terri was nothing short of amazing. She was accommodating with touring the ballroom on our schedule & answered any and all questions I had. She never made me feel like I was asking a stupid question & ALWAYS got back to me within 24 hours. She does her job so so well & is all around such a kind woman. After our rehearsal with her, we couldn’t have been more ready and comfortable for our day. Terri even took the time before our ceremony to show our photographer where we could take pictures behind the venue.

The wedding package is literally amazing. Their package comes with so much food, florals, cake. My guests talked so much about how awesome cocktail hour was (and we all know how important that is). Bartenders were awesome, wait staff was super nice and attentive. I will always recommend the lazaretto ballroom!

We cannot thank them enough for the most unforgettable experience.

Run … don’t walk! My husband and I got married on 6/10/23 at The Lazaretto. IT WAS ABSOLUTLY PERFECT! In the start of our search for a venue, I emailed a bunch of potential venues. (Some were slow to get back, some were pushy, and only a handful were VERY responsive) The Lazaretto was one of the places that were very responsive. (It was also the first place we went and looked at) It was super easy to schedule a time to go look at the venue. We met Terri and she showed us around. She showed us our options for the onsite ceremony (indoor or outdoor) option, the ballroom, the bathrooms, the bridal suite, etc. She answered any questions we threw at her. My husband and I were super comfortable with Terri and the venue – so we didn’t look any further. Terri explained the process and what was included. As our wedding day was approaching, we met with Terri to go over the final details. I brought her all my day-of décor and she stored them for us until the big day. Fast forward to the day of! The day-of didn’t go as planned due to us girls running behind. We were originally planning on doing a first look followed by bridal party photos. Plan B approached quickly to where we were just going to do a first look. You can probably guess what’s next… Plan C! Plan C was to axe the first look and just meet at the altar. My husband was already at the venue, and he was communicating with Terri throughout the day with the change of plans. (And when I mean throughout the day, it was over the course of 2 hours. Plans changed quickly) And Terri went right along with it! She didn’t skip a beat. [As did our photographer – AMAZING! ] Terri stayed throughout the cake-cutting and checked with us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. She made this process SEAMLESS! Oh! And let’s not forget about the staff and food! The staff was very attentive. They checked on my husband and I throughout the night, brought us drinks, and my guest even mentioned how friendly the staff was. The food – delicious! (Multiple guests talk about how delicious the food was!) I could go on and on with my review but was trying to keep it as short and sweet as possible without missing any details. To sum up my review… BOOK with the Lazaretto Ballroom. You will NOT be disappointed! -Happy Bride & Groom <3

Loved it! Was here for my best friend Wedding. Lovely place, food was fantastic! Would Def recommend this place for any kind of event. I've live in Delco all my life and it was my first time hearing about this place, but I'm glad I was able to experience this place.

We had an amazing time at Lazaretto, this was.our first time there. I would love to book a celebration there one day. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We are planning a 100th birthday celebration at Lazaretto. We have been working with Terri on all elements of having a memorable event. It has been wonderful having her help. Great place for banquet bookings. The food was good real good not that basic prep food mess thats not even seasoned well. Overall it was a good experience here.

Great party and food. The facility is a hidden treasure. Staff was friendly, respectful, courteous & professional. The food was good & the facility was clean, secure and up to par. I would definitely recommend & use them for an event.
