LECOM VNA of Erie County

The nurse that came to show us what medication to give my Dad when he was in home hospis care was cold, uncaring, and rude to my family. The nurses aid that came was rough with my dad and very disrespectful to my Dad's dignity. This organization should be investigated for there poor treatment of their patients. Do not let Saint Vincent Hospital pick this company for you when you are at the hospital. Beware!

The absolute worst. Don't just walk run form this place. There are alot of other hospice's out there don't let Saint Vincents or Lecom advise you or they will say they work alot with the VNA. That's because both hospitals co- own the VNA so they make money off of you.
I have been told my loved one was to be transported home on Wed at 4: 00 I worked all day preparing to bring them home.only to be told they changed the pick until tomorrow. Then I did not hear it my loved one was determined strong enough to survive the trip home or not until I received a call from Saint Vincent's Pharmacy and they were looking for a copay for her prescriptions. The ones covered by hospice. I was not able to get ahold of anyone at the VNA until around 11: 00 am just horrible horrible experience. My only reason for posting this review is I hope that letting people know of my horrible experience will help someone not to have to go thru the same.
