Leesport Diner

The food and service was wonderful. The only problem we had was with the bus boys and manager. They were circling around us like sharks the entire time we were eating. Reaching across my face while taking a bite to grab the empty plate beside me. They were clearing the table constantly. Wiping it off and clearing the trash before you could even get your coat on and walk away from the table. It was rude and I've never felt so rushed to eat and leave.

This diner is amazing from service to food. I have always had take out, but the last time I ate at the diner. It was an excellent choice. My waitress was very attentive. My food came out quick. The amount of food for the price was amazing. I made two meals. I will continue to get a meal from the Leesport Diner.

I used to love this place until my parents had explained to me the experience they had with the rude owner (s). We have come here many times in the past pre-Covid and never had issues. Food was mediocre, but it’s diner food so really what do you expect? The problem was the owner’s wife who walks around like a shark in the restaurant making customers feel uncomfortable (doesn’t even bother to friendly interact with anyone or try to make connections, just straight surveillance and unwelcoming type vibe). We ordered our entrees with the waitress who we didn’t have a problem with and got the salad bar which uniquely has chicken wings. We got some chicken wings (not many because we didn’t want to fill up on that) and salad. We were eating and the owners wife is circling around like a shark still making us feel like we are doing something wrong. Then we get our entrees, we eat, no big deal. Food was alright. We had leftovers so we asked for boxes to take home and we had a few pieces of chicken left that we were also just going to take home and eat. They have been sitting at our table part eaten and some untouched due to us getting our entrees before we could eat them and the owner’s wife sends the waitress to come tell us (the waitress told us it wasn’t coming from her mouth) that we can’t take it home despite that it’s already on our table with our bite marks in it. I get that if it would equate to a whole entree or if it was an excessive amount but it’s literally on our plates already and we took a bite out of it. You really want us to waste food that WE paid for rather than just let us take it home? We have been loyal customers to this place and never did that before but to be told that in such a rude way by the owner (not the waitress) is uncalled for. The owners care more about money than customer satisfaction. Sad, you know why? Because they lost a whole lot of profit from a loyal family/customer due to, what, maybe $4 worth of chicken wings? These people are clowns. There are more tactful ways of handling situations than the way that was handled and they could’ve said you can take it this time but generally we don’t allow people to pack up dood from the salad bar.

There are more friendly and reasonable diners in the area such as Route 61,5th Street Diner, Temple Diner or Crossroads Diner that won’t insult you. It’s interesting I read other reviews who also had issues with the owners. Maybe the owners should reevaluate their goals and how to maintain a business and customer satisfaction.

The food was delicious, just the way we ordered it. They were really busy and we still got our food in a timely manner. We always stop here when we're in the area.

Roaches. I’ve been coming here for years. Recently found out my brother and his family love Leesport diner as well. It’s good breakfast food. Lunch and dinner are ok. Well we came for lunch yesterday. I got the crispy chicken wrap, which I asked for Zatziki sauce instead and never got. Was still ranch dressing. My kids got eggs and pancakes and my wife got the Italian omelette. My daughter starts freaking out about halfway through the meal about an ant on the table. Which I didn’t see at first. Then I see the baby roach run across the table. I kill it and take it to the owner with a napkin. No apology, no hey meals on us, just “it must have come in with a delivery. ” Yea ok buddy, just didn’t wanted to make a scene but you might want to have someone come check out your roach problem. We won’t be going back again. Neither will my brother and his family or our friends. And hopefully no one else does. I read quite a few reviews before I posted this. Roaches, rats, and very rude owners.

The service was excellent. Very good menu selection waitress was very helpful and kept my coffee cup full salad bar was well stocked. I would recommend it to my friends

Food was ok until I met the guy at the counter. Very rude and absolutely don’t know how to do customer service right. He was threatening me and saying nonsense. Never came back!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. Ordered ahead 2 meat lovers omelets and a " crabmeat" omelet with hollandaise sauce of which I added spinach. As I began to eat my omelet I wasn't tasting any crab meat. They used imitation crab meat. Their menu states "crab meat". I don't eat that mess. I should have checked before I left the restaurant. Called back to speak to the so called manager. He asked me "how do I know it's not crab meat? " Are you flipping kidding me? Punk @$$! I know that customers are not always right but this so called? Should have handled this differently. This might explain why they have the Xtra lrg "help wanted manager" on their sign. Not to take away from the young lady that answered the phone or the young lady that got the red velvet cake for me. They were very nice and PROFESSIONAL. I hope that guy don't treat them the way he treats customers.

I've been coming to this Diner as often as I can since 2016 and I have never left disappointed. Everything is always perfect; from good hot food and great staff to large portions and fair prices. Nice atmosphere and clean as well.

What a terrific experience we had today on our first visit ever to this magnificent little gem. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the warm, welcoming staff was First Rate. We will be back. Thanks for making our visit so memorable.

Great food very clean and very nice people but no black diamond steak for breakfast only dinner

Great selection off the menu. Good always good. Servers attentive. Manager works and helps servers.

The atmosphere was fantastic. We were seated immediately, Ashley served us perfectly and answered all our questions. The food was tasty and plentiful. It brought back fond memories of Long Island, NY diners

The food was amazing, the service was good could of been a little better. But they are very welcoming, very clean. Will come back and eat here again.

Best diner in the area if you ask me. I’ve visited about 20 times or more. Only problem is everytime i bring my girlfriend all the men workers look at her inappropriately knowing i’m in the picture and knowing i’m a loyal customer my girlfriend gets very uncomfortable and ever since we just eat our food and go.

It was a nice restaurant, very clean. Staff was very friendly. Generous portions and good prices However, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was not what I'm used to. I guess everyone has their own way of making pulled pork, I like it shredded, this was chunky and there wasn't enough sauce on it.
