Legal Sea Foods, King of Prussia PA

Crab cake was excellent. Scallops were slightly overcooked. Dry and chewy. Salad and dressing were delicious. Shrimp and rice were okay too. Was hoping to try the crab soup but it's no longer on the menu. Yuck!

This could have been one of the most disappointing meals of 2022. We arrived at around 2: 30pm and the restaurant was practically empty (but I could hear the staff talking about preparations for a Holiday Party for 50 that would be seated at 5pm).
They asked us to sit and wait for a table, which wasn't a big issue, but 15 minutes sitting in an empty lobby of a largely empty restaurant only to be seated at a table that was 10 feet away seemed silly. Let us sit, give us water and ask us to give you a few minutes.
But the MEAL was far worse than the arrival. Yo be short, this was the most Unflavorful/Bland tiny portion of a meal that I can remember this year. Even SALT couldn't help it out.
Crab Cake for +/-$24 was miniscule. My wife's pasta dish - flavorless.
$130 was $100 too much for what we were served and it's quality.
The funny thing is, Ive noticed that when the staff KNOWS the food is bad, they don't ask if you are enjoying it - and nobody asked us a thing except if we wanted refills.

I love fried clams with the bellies and they have them on the menu but I was very disappointed. At first they came out slightly burnt and then after telling the waitress they sent out another (small batch) that hardly had many bellies at all.

After a long day at the mall my family and I wanted to enjoy a good dinner together.
With so many restaurant choices in that area, we are glad we picked this establishment.

We were presently surprised with a great dining experience at Legal Sea Foods.
Food was delicious and prepared to our expectations.
The most appreciated part of the experience was our server.
This young lady had a smile on her face though out, she was very pleasant and made sure our table got the attention.
We will definitely return for more pleasant dining events.

I knew this restaurant in Boston. This place in KOP preserves all the essence that makes it an excellent option. I ordered a lobster soup (delicious), served with hot bread and butter. Crab cake as a background and as accompaniment hot vegetables and rice.all delicious.for dessert and as a finishing touch some balls of ice cream covered in chocolate. It is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten! The attention of the waitress excellent, very attentive and friendly, the place extremely nice.recommended 100%

Great atmosphere very friendly staff! Oysters were great and the crab cakes were the best we have had and the salad that came with the crab cake was amazing. Drinks were great. Wasn’t real thrilled with the rest but will go back for the steak and lobster which was what I wanted to order and should not have listened to hubby. Grr!

Clean environment. Seating was not crammed together. Staff was courteous, informative and very professional. All of the food was very fresh down to the strawberry on my cheesecake

Updated - I’d just like to say thank you to Dan for going above and beyond with his service and fixing an issue my family experienced. From 1 hospitality professional to another, he handled the issue with empathy, patience, and I doubt I would have done better myself if I was in his shoes. My family looks forward to trying this location again and we wouldn’t be saying that if Dan wouldn’t have reached out regarding the issue we experienced. The hostess when we picked up our food was incredibly friendly which previously I forgot to mention. Thank you again Dan and team.

Perhaps this location is just not up to par, but the service was bad and food was not work the price. Disappointing.

The gazpacho with shrimp was very good. I usually love the haddock Anna's way, but it was very dry. The were short staffed as many restaurants are, but the service was very good considering

Ate at Legal Seafood first time today not only was the food good Laura W our waitress made the experience great. I’m only coming back if she waits on us everytime lol if the owner or supervisor sees this I recommend she get a bonus promotion whatever she was great. Thank you Laura W.

Food was great and Aisha was an awesome server! She was very attentive to our needs and was super friendly. I highly suggest trying the lobster mac and cheese.

I would give them 4.5 stars but we know Google doesn't allow that so i went with 4. Another chain I truly enjoy when I'm not eating at hole in the wall, michelin star, or mom and pop shops is Legal Sea Foods. The quality is decent, the staff is well trained and the restaurant is clean. Food is served at a timely manner even when it's very busy. I definitely recommend if you're at King of Prussia mall and hungry to check it out or if you make a trip to Boston! The only reason I took off a star was the limited menu and being out of salmon when I went which is my go to order. Still a great experience

Fresh seafood well prepared. Good raw bar: go from 2 to 5 for buck a clay or 2 bucks per oyster. Good service: ask for Laura in the bar. Beware: not inexpensive imho worth it.

The food was outstanding but this poor place gets mice thanks to the kop mall they are covered with them they need to make a stand against them so clean up you act kop mall now

Service was good, food Neh. I ordered Legal wedge with. Cajun Colossal shrimp which were undercooked but without any issues New plate was brought to me with seems like smaller size of shrimp. At that point I was ok with that! Also ladies bathroom need little more attention.

The market priced lobster roll was worth the price. Great service too. Our server, Laura, knew the menu well and was so helpful. Also great for my son's allergies.

Went to Legal Seafood in KOP today. It was not good at all! Legal was sold and it is not the same quality. We have been going for years and have gone to several locations in Boston. Tuna appetizer was poor quality and so much seasoning you couldn't taste the tuna at all. They don't know how to shuck oysters and it took so long to get them. I ordered the crab cake entree and didn't want the salad which always came with it, because the salad was changed and not in a good way. I ordered the jasmine rice and it already came with a rice pilaf which I was not aware of. When my meal came it was a plateful of rice, just ridiculous! The waitress said I guess I should of told you it already came with rice. Another great restaurant is ruined! Save your money and don't bother going, it is just not worth it!

And to Legal Seafood and the new ownership: WHY? A place that was always filled with people was empty! Will not be back!

An absolutely fabulous restaurant, especially for gluten free food. The staff was amazing, and I hope to return the next time I’m in King of Prussia. I ordered a salad, and the fish and chips. No gluten goes into the fryer, so most fried items are gluten free. The waitress also brought us some gluten free rolls. The salad was delicious, and the fish and fries was also great. The dessert, a set of three chocolate covered ice cream balls was very tasty and sweet. While the restaurant is somewhat expensive, I definitely thought it was worth it.
