As a high schooler at LVA, I think that the school overall has an amazing learning environment. Most of the teachers not only focus on teaching us, but focus on having a good teacher-student relationship. The school teaches at a high level of education and really encourages us to do the best we can. Some things may be unorganized and upsetting from a students point of view, but overall LVA is a great school. Also, a lot of these bad reviews for LVA were from years ago and the school has really improved since then.

As a student who went here for most of my school life. I’ve seen how much it has changed since 2010. Something that didn’t change was how rude the teachers were and unorganized everything is. I no longer go to LVA for highschool.

All 3 of my children go to this school together and they are all different ages K, 3rd, and 10th grade. If they went to public school I would be dropping all 3 of them off at different schools. Not only that but they really care about their students and do anything and everything to help them succeed. I couldn't go on an on but you'll just have to see for yourself.

First thing first, when reading reviews for any place or product, please be aware of “who” and “what type” of person the review is coming from!

My child attends this school, and HANDS DOWN, I am beyond pleased as a parent! I have another child who is FIVE years older, that attends a completely separate school and is not learning or performing at the SAME LEVEL as his younger sibling. So academic wise, I am completely satisfied with this school’s curriculum and what they teach our children.

Another thing, a TEACHER is NOT your child’s parent. A TEACHER is not RESPONSIBLE of stopping their entire class for ONE child’s behavior. Can parents PLEASE start taking accountability of their OWN children and the way THEY raised their child BEFORE school came into the picture? ! How fair is it for a teacher to stop 20+ other children from learning to tend to your child because YOU as their parent didn’t PREPARE THEM for that moment? ! YES there is a such thing as learning disabilities, but can we PLEASE stop throwing that term around so loosely because there are children who truly NEED the help rather then be RAISED over. Thank you.

Another thing, before YOUR child attends any school, is it NOT YOUR job as a parent to research which school you choose your child to attend? I mean I did. Based off my research, I KNEW this school was “smaller”. I KNEW this school was in a TEMPORARY location (shout out to the parent complaining about the trailers). I refused to let those minor things ever come between my child and their EDUCATION! Everything I looked up and what I wanted for my child as a parent, it aligned up completely.

I am soooo so happy with my child’s teachers. I am thrilled my child comes home everyday excited to tell me about their day and teach me what they learned. And I am at an awe everyday over my child’s excitement and their love for learning, school, their friends, their teachers. LVA we thank you for being nothing less than amazing for our child! ️

The teachers care about the students, the students care about you, and are always willing to help, and if you have a problem, they always solve it immediately. I believe LVA is the best school in BASD! Everyone is always willing to help here. There is rarely homework so kids are not stressed, and when there is homework it is just simple things. The work is not overwhelming at all and the classes are very enjoyable!

For anyone who saw Winnie Zheng's review, the kids there are not anti-social and also, she doesn't even go to Lehigh Valley Academy, she goes to a different school so she doesn't even know. I'd rate the school a 9/10 because the school is great, but i just wish the smarter students should be challenged.

I think there parents do not need to put there kids in this school because this school is for mostly anti social kids. Which I hate

I once stuck a whole Biscoff in my foreskin during a flight. This is the same pain I get when I walk outside to a tractor trailer for a class. The fact that it takes an hour to get to the school with zero security scares my child Alex Puente where somedays he won't even go to school. Love You Alex!

I graduated here in 2016. When looking at teachers faces, they are all stressed out which is most likely the reason several teachers left.

Great school. But, dress code is very strict and some teachers can’t control their students. But overall a good school.

My mom forced me to go to this school, but it still ended up being much worse than I expected. In their IB program, I end up occasionally learning something regular schools taught a year earlier. Everything is low quality. Low quality campus. Low quality education. Low quality food. The list is very long.

This school is incredible. I have had the pleasure of substitute teaching here, and the teachers are helpful, competent, and personable! I absolutely love when I get to work here! Their IB curriculum also greatly prepares students for college. In their high school years, students definitely study college level material. I could not be more pleased with this school!

I use to go to this school then I switch to basd at northeast, and I have to say it’s much better here. Some of the teacher were not nice or biased agensit some students. And they write you up for nothing and when you say what happens now one believes you even tho there were eye witnesses, and the dress code was rediutios, write for not have your shirt tucked in or your shoes are not the right shade of color. Going to basd was great for me and the work is easier for a child and the homework is do able. I dont recremend going here. They only focus on the date students and some slower students are some what left behind. All from experience. That also pick on impaticalar students for if they say talk in a room of kid screaming and then you get yelled at. To be fair some teacher were great.

I believe that this school is not that great of a school. They start to write you up for reasons like your shirt is untucked. They come up with any way to suspend you if you did wrong like if you flick someones neck. They have teachers that do not teach well and they are an overall joke on the inside of the school a lot of people who support only women and they don't like racism when a quote on quote white person is being racist. That is why this school is overall just a trashy school.

Do NOT I'll say it again, NOT send your children here. First off, they overload you with school work which overwhelms you and it causes HUGE problems with horrible teachers who aren't flexible to anything when it comes to due dates or helping you, like if you hand in something late to most teachers because of all the work they give you, they'll usually reply with a sassy comment like "Well, you had this time! Sucks to be you! " (I actually acknowledged students hearing this, and this happened to me too.) Anyway, if it couldn't get any worse, trust me it is way worse. There is teachers that write you up for EVERYTHING, lets say you come without a pencil for example to class, they write you up for that like seriously? You are a teacher and probably have a load of pencils, and believe it or not they sometimes refuse to do so too. It gets even worse, you can get written up or get a phone call home just because you are near people (5-20 feet away) who are having a conversation with nothing to do with you. This personally happened to me last year, they inconvenienced my parents by getting a phone call because I was near people talking about how it was dumb to commit suicide, and I didn't say a single word, yeah. And it gets even worse, you can get suspended for being in the bathroom sometimes for no reason, because of "violation of school policy" which is honestly bull. The kids are also very annoying and try and act cool and fit in, yeah you do NOT want to be here. This school is a mess and I advise you do not send your children here if you love them. You need to beware of all these issues because your child if you send them here, can get in trouble for the simplest thing like listening to music while doing work, which is a "off task using electronics" in the parent portal. And last but not least, this school just let a 16 year old go missing because they didn't check the person who signed them out who was not on their emergency list, which you need to be on to pick someone up. The 45 year old man (at the time of March 2018) signed the 16 year old out TEN TIMES without ID and being on the student's emergency contact list, which is just disgusting especially because after school the student went missing with the man because of the school not being cautious of who they let pick up their students. I hope this helps you and this is a true explanation of this horrible school. Thank god I left.

If you love your children, do not send them here. Things you should know before coming to LVA, Sneezing, taping your pencil, listing to music, asking your teacher for help, and asking to use the bathroom could be "violating school policies" and you will get a write-up, THANK YOU!

My child likes it here but hates all the homework. They say that they say they give you 8 pages to do in 4 sometimes 3 nights and i have witnessed it.

EHHH. IDK. I have a lot of experience because I was here since Kinder. They provide good educations.and that is why they are strict and have a lot of rules because they do provide good educations.but they could be a little bit less strict because right now.they are really strict. ;P
