Lehigh Valley Hospital - 17th Street, Allentown PA

I would rather go into debt at another office than ever having to step foot in this office again. The only decent people I came in contact was my nurse and dentist. The front staff is absolutely atrocious. I left work for an emergency appointment because I was in massive amounts of pain as well as the next day. They refused to write me an excuse for those 2 days since nothing was performed on me, even though I got X-rays, saw a doctor, and set up a follow up appointment. When I argued she said she would write me an excuse for the hour I was there. So I’m going to max my credit card out and get my work done at a place that treats me like a human being and not an inconvenience because THATS how bad this place sucks.

Dr kulp was very rude and didn't seem to care at all about my son's health. Suggesting a whole bunch of test that wasn't even related to the issue. 2 sonogram that ended up costing 400 each with insurance payment of 2,500 each and both test were fine. Which makes me think if the first one was done and everything was fine why a second one? My whole pregnancy they said it was a high risk but didn't move a finger to lift my restrictions at work, repeatedly telling me this "could" be wrong with the baby and blah blah meanwhile my son is perfectly fine, they wouldn't acknowledge anything positive only what they thought could be wrong. I had anxiety and depression all this time as a result of this. Went to the ER a couple of times and after hours of wait they gave him what I could get in the pharmacy without a prescription. Whenever I asked doctor J Kulp she would answer with a question, not even trying to be respectful given the fact that she's also a mother.

Best pre-op and recovery experience I’ve ever had. The medical staff was amazing and provided thorough care. My continued recovery at home had been without issue.

I was in there emergency room I want to thank them for being so kind it made me relax and get through what I was going through easier so kind caring thank you so much for caring and being there for me.you helped me get through what I was going through.

Had surgery and the aftercare was a nightmare. They didn't even call my family to tell them I was done and ok. They didn't call my ride they made me do it. They didn't want to send me home with any pain medicine. They didn't let me rest they rushed me out of there. Even forgot to take my IV out after discharge. I had to tell them to take it out. I didn't recommend having surgery here! 0 stars if I could

The surgeon was excellent, the recovery room staff was terrible. Patients who have the possibility of needing to be admitted for 23 hours shouldn't be sent there for procedures. Instead, my elderly mother was sent home and ended up at the ER the next morning. Thankfully, she is fine, but no thanks to them. Lehigh Valley builds all these buildings at Cedar Crest.fine, but do something about you Chew St 'hospital' or stop sending patients to it. Never again.

You wait in the waiting room for 5 hrs just to go to a room and wait another hour and half for them to catch attitude with you then discharge you without telling you what’s completely wrong with you very unprofessional staff if I could give them a zero I would

I was recently at this emergency room for an unknown issue. The nurses and doctors were amazing. They took the time to help make me comfortable and checked in on me often. I felt as though they truly cared about my well being. This is not the first time that I can say this about my experience with this emergency room. I know it is a bit further to drive but I'd rather go here than anywhere else in an emergency!

04/30/18 @ 8: 50 today was my miserable day on this phone appointment service in this hospital.just bcz of my daughter who's seek and she really need to see her doctor.that's so bad us as the patients please i'm so sorry for that women (nurse) who was answering the phone so unprofessional and weird.

I went in on thanksgiving in the emergency room because I slipped in the shower and broke a tooth all the way past the gums and in the bone the nurse he was awesome he was very helpful and friendly but they were not able to get the dentist to come in so I had to go back home with the same pain after being there for 6 hours but they were able to get me a dental appointment the next morning which I thought was nice then when I got there the dentist told me he couldn’t do much because I wasn’t a patient at they’re hospital an if I wanted to become one I would have to wait two years! So Ive been running around looking for a place that could help me because I’m still in pain and so they sent me to another place I went to the other place and the dentist was extremely helpful even helped me make phone calls because unfortunately what I need is actual surgery and when I called and explained to another hospital my situation they told me that the Lehigh valley network wasn’t supposed to tell I’m not they’re patient because I entered they’re ER making me a patient if theirs so I called my insurance and they agreed this is crazy I could have been relieved of pain almost a week ago and yet I was turned away most likely due to money reasons I’m never going there again being a medical student myself I have never experienced such money hungry selfish and just unhelpful practitioners in my life

Always satisfied with the staffs and service here total peace of mind beside dealing with my condition my doctor he’s an angel I’m so grateful and blessed to be his patient.

Emergency staff are ignorant and they don't care, I had to take my son 2 years old to the emergency room around 9: 30 pm for fever, there was only three people ahead of us until 11: 30pm there was 3 patients got checked out and the three people waiting outside none of them got called to be treated, the only people were going in were the food delivery I guess they were partying instead of treating people, I had to to take my son to another hospital. Don't go there if you have emergency!

Come for a scheduled shot for a dog bite the 3rd one of 3 thank god because every time we came for the 3 shots the 1st and 2nd one we waited for 2 hours or more for a scheduled shot I wish I could have a job where I decide when some ones gets the help so much for their moto written every where aimed to please make you comfortable so on yea comfortable in the waiting room idiots with degree's smh

I HATE YOUR STUFF WHEN I WAS IN THERE FOR ME NOW? WHEN I THERE FOR 6/1/2 MONTH'S THEN. WHY I DR. HARRY BUCKANAN IS JAIL THAT PAY TAX STUFF. FOR THAT I HATE HIM VERY MUCH?
