Visiting is always such a positive and calming experience for both of my children. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and I don’t know how they do it, but they minimize the dread of visiting.

Office staff are kind to us as well as the kids, always leaving them laughing. The dentist is exceptional, keeps me and my oldest equally relaxed and informed of what’s happening.

Can’t recommend a better dentist for the kids!

Unfortunately, this place is becoming more of a rush in and out for teeth cleaning visits. The last couple times we were there for a teeth cleaning; they were done in 5 minutes. My gut was telling me something was not right, and it was too fast. I took my daughter to my dentist for a 2nd option. Of course, my instinct was correct- they missed 3 cavities (when I was only told about 1). They need to take more time with the cleanings and exams. My friend also left because of the same reason- teeth cleanings are too quick.

We have been dreading taking our “three-nager” to the dentist for months. However, it could not have gone any smoother! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly office staff, a kind and patient hygienist, and an awesome dentist! There were no tears shed and it was the best first pediatric dentist visit!

I recently had the most horrendous dental experience of my life, and I feel compelled to warn others about the nightmare that unfolded at Majumdar's clinic. My son appointment at this dental practice was nothing short of a disaster, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice.
First and foremost, the staff at this clinic were extremely unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with indifference and a complete lack of empathy. The receptionist seemed disinterested in addressing my son concerns and was more focused on chatting with colleagues than attending to patients. It set a negative tone for the entire visit.
Once he finally got into the dentist's chair, things only went from bad to worse. The dentist himself appeared rushed and careless, as if he couldn't wait to finish my son's appointment and move on to the next patient. His bedside manner was abysmal, and he showed no regard for my dear son comfort or pain levels. I had to repeatedly ask for anesthesia during a particularly painful procedure, and even then, it was administered with little care or precision.
To make matters worse, the equipment in the clinic was outdated and seemed unsanitary. I couldn't help but feel uneasy as I watched the dentist struggle with old, rusty tools that looked like they belonged in a museum. It was clear that proper hygiene and maintenance were not a priority at this establishment.
But perhaps the most distressing part of our visit was the final bill. Not only did the clinic overcharge me for services mon son did not receive, but they also added numerous hidden fees that were never mentioned during my initial consultation. It felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze as much money out of me as possible, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth.
In summary, my son's experience at Majumdar's clinic was a complete nightmare. The lack of professionalism, the disregard for patient comfort, the outdated equipment, and the exorbitant fees all contributed to an overwhelmingly negative experience. I implore you to seek dental care elsewhere, as this clinic clearly prioritizes profit over patient well-being. Save yourself the agony and look for a dentist who genuinely cares about their patients and provides quality care.

My daughter loves the treatment she receives. She’s not afraid to go to the dentist. From the reception, hygienist and Dentist, all are professional and know how to make a child feel comfortable while they are there.

Very poor bedside manner. The whole procedure was very rushed with no regard for using any calming techniques. You would think a pediatric dentist would avoid traumatizing a child at all costs. My child was screaming that the papoose was choking her, to try to calm her I went to adjust the papoose under her neck. This is when the dentist very swiftly grabbed my hand and squeezed it and said, "never touch anything, I could end up stabbing you with something ". At this point he had not even touched his instruments and had just put the papoose on my child. If you can't take one minute to adjust a papoose to calm an already anxiety ridden 4 year old, maybe pediatrics should not be your specialty. This dentist barely even paused to let the novocaine numb the area or ensure the gas that was used to help calm the child had any calming effect. 0/10, would never recommend.

Nothing but good things to say, top to bottom. Toddler cries, but they are incredibly kind, patient and supportive. Easy scheduling, very professional, highly recommend!

Will not put child first and will insist on restraining. We went somewhere else where my daughter did fine and didn't have to be restrained. Imagine that, a parent knowing their child. My daughter had a filling that fell put for 2 months waiting on them. Shame on them for not putting the child first. Two months with the filling out isn't putting them first FYI

After having had a terrible experience elsewhere in Bethlehem, it was so refreshing to walk in with my son and see him comfortable. They were all so welcoming, and the office is beautiful.

If it could be zero stars I would’ve but this is the lowest option. It’s just traumatizing for my son and as he lays there screaming “it hurts” the dentist basically just yells at him to stop talking or yelling or making noise so he can finish and “no it doesn’t hurt. ” And I even confronted him after he was done and he was like no it didn’t hurt. How he knows what a separate person feels outside of his own body is a mystery to me.

Maybe it didn’t hurt when he tested it but when you drill deeper and deeper it can. I’ve had enough dental work done to know sometimes once they get past a certain point they need another shot. And some people have a harder time getting numb. So they pause, shoot it again, wait a minute, then finish up quickly.

I was like, “can’t you stop and give kids another shot like they do adults” And he’s like “oh it didn’t hurt. I jabbed him when I numbed him and asked if it was ok and he said yeah. He was already screaming when he came in here. ” I said “he was CRYING (not screaming) that he didn’t want to do it but when he’s laying there then screaming it hurts you probably need to do something about it”

When we got called back my son was crying and just saying mommy I don’t want to do this. Not screaming. Then he starts screaming “it hurts! ” In the middle of the procedure and the dr just yells at him.

When I tried to bring it up to him after (because he had my sons tooth open and I didn’t want him to mess up his procedure and hurt him more if I caused a scene) he tries to gaslight you like he does the kids so I just turned my back and left with my kids and he’s not putting another hand on them. And hopefully someone sees this and saves their kids the trauma too.

And he was unnecessarily rude to the assistant that helps the dentists out for procedures.

My daughter had a great experience here. The office is very modern, top notch equipment and very clean atmosphere. The staff was attentive and kind. Dr. Amith Majumdar & the hygienist was awesome, patient, and fully explained every question my husband & I had, They made my daughter feel so comfortable. Kudos to each & everyone. I highly recommend this place.

This office uses restraint on children that is not warranted. I didn't realize there were other options until it was too late. A cavity filling was the most traumatic experience of my parenting career! Explore your options before signing up with this office!
