Lehigh Valley Zoo reviews
18I honestly was expecting it to be nicer and with more variety of animals. A lot of the animals looked under stress or unhealthy. So sad.
Had an amazing time at the zoo with my family. My kid had a great time participating in the Halloween festivities. The staff there are all so kind and polite, some even pretended to really be scared of my kid's costume. Also with tokens we were able to pick out some pumpkins that we took home to carve.
The zoo itself was nice but I seen a couple of employees taking advantage of the only pig they had it was screaming and crying but they just wouldn’t stop porking the poor pig I just watched and ate my popcorn maybe I would go back
Sad times. Small zoo, minimal exotic animals, most of it closed. Enjoyable, but not worth the ticket.
It was an okay experience. There were plenty of animals. But I was really thinking I was gonna see monkeys! And saw none: (
We went to the zoo last Christmas and we're let down. Not a single animal was decorated. Not even a hat or some garland. Fast-forward to today, we went for Halloween. Once again nothing at all. I get it that some you can't but none at all is really messed up. We are done with their "holiday" displays.
This place is so family oriented and a wonderful trip for little ones looking for a little adventure!:) My 3 almost 4 year old was so happy to see all the different animals of the world.
Very cute local zoo. Lots of animals you'd expect for the climate but even some surprises I wasn't expecting. The penguins and giraffe were a welcome sight for my group. A must see if you're in the area.
Awesome little zoo in the middle of a game preserve. Perfect for a family with young kids.
The zoo was great! The animals are the most beautiful thing ever, I definitely recommend this place! Make sure you buy snacks inside, they’re delicious
I thought the place was really nice but slightly disorganized.
Lunch was not expensive. Hotdogs were 2$ hamburger was 3.50 for comparison average side was 5$ food was way better than I expected and super filling.although the line was insane and the wait was as bad as it looks. Kudos to the staff working I saw them working crazy fast so it was no fault of their own.
Animals were adorable prices over all are great and Id go again.
The indoor exhibit was small and not great for kids and adults who are overstimulated. It gets very loud and crammed.
There is a small playground perfect to get some energy out, would be great if at some point they add a 2 and under area or expand to include a touch and explore center with a few activities!
Small zoo which is perfect for little ones. Less stress of them wandering off and getting lost. We had an amazing day!
We live locally, we go to this zoo at least once a year. We will probably stop going & find another one that is further away. The staff is often rude or off-putting. Today we went & the wasps were so bad at the picnic tables when we were eating our 2 year old got stung & there were swarms around us. We also find that it seems to take less and less time to walk through thr park because there are less animals or exhibits
Attacked by bees from the moment you park your car upon arrival until you leave the zoo. Just opening the door to the car let 3 bees inside car. Bees swarming all over everyone makes it impossible to enjoy the zoo. Good luck trying to eat lunch or take a drink of water without bees flying right in your drink. Zoo clearly has an issue with bees and the staff just pretend not to notice. Everyone around us swatting at bees and kids trying to run away. Another family just got up out of frustration and left their food on the table because they couldn’t deal with all the bees. The zoo itself is ok. It’s clean and prices aren’t terrible. They have basic ordinary animals like raccoons and goats. They do have a giraffe that you can feed but you have to pay $5 for a piece of lettuce to feed it. You can make it around the entire zoo and see everything in 30 minutes.
Smallish zoo (not necessarily a bad thing) with lots of shade. Very kid friendly. If I had children with me I probably would have given it 5 stars.
Small but quaint zoo. Very quiet mid-week. Took about an hour & a half to go thru the whole thing.
We had such an amazing time feeding Tatu? I love this zoo, its local, the prices are very reasonable and all of the workers and volunteers are the absolute sweetest.
It was raining so all the animals were hiding, other than that it a fun place if you have young kids
