Dr. Dawn is honestly incredible. Genuinely cares about all the pets. Been going to her for many years. Has helped us through some very difficult times.
My cat james is 20. Having issues. The vet gave me great advice and medicine. No upsell. No nonesense. Very affordeable. And james is already doing better
I cannot say enough about the staff at Lehighton animal hospital. Last night, our best girl had 4 seizures, it was traumatic to say the least. They got her in first thing in the morning at their sister hospital, and administed pain meds, antibiotics, and anti seizure meds. I took her around 9 and they had results of blood work and x-rays within 3 hours. They kept her a little longer for observation per our request, and asked us to call at 2. They were prompt to answer the phone and give us a complete update. We are going to pick her up now, and hope all is well, but even if it isn't (which of course we don't hope) we know that she received the best possible care. They are angels. Especially Dr. Dawn and Angie. I cannot explain my gratitude to these amazing people.
Been going to them for years. Have gone to both offices. My dog is never upset or scared to see them. He goes right into the exam room.
Called to schedule an appt and whoever answered was rude as h***. Everytime I attempted to speak or ask a quick question I was immediately interrupted or cut off - No thanks, if they can't even get thru a 2 minute phone call then I have no desire to know anything else about them. I can find much better service anywhere else.
There is such a huge disconnect between the front desk & the vets that its just an absolute nightmare. You can't get the same answer from 2 different people. There was only 1 person at the front desk I trusted. Should have gone with my instincts & gone somewhere else. I loved the vet, but after an error with 2 different dogs, one caused one dog pain & vision issues, the other dog unfortunately didn't make it. I'm not saying they're at fault for her passing, but a miscommunication with the front desk led to a test never being scheduled & 3 weeks later, there was nothing that could be done for her. I'm just heartbroken that I listened to the front desk & my baby girl may have been in pain longer than I realized. This is terrible.
We currently have a rescue dog we are fostering who needs to be spayed. Decided to use this location since the rescues vet is an hour away. Called to set up an appointment for spay which could not be done without her having an appointment first. Ok that is their policy we will do that. Set up the appointment and paid a $65 fee to hold the appointment which I was told would be applied to the visit. Vets are busy since Covid so I understand this cold be a new p;olicy. Spoke with the rescue and found out that their vet does the spay for $110 for the rescue we would be charged at least $335 at Lehighton. The rescue only covers the $110 so we decided to go to the rescues vet. Made the appointment yesterday called this morning to cancel and was informed the $65 is non refundable. I replied I should have been told that yesterday she said everyone is supposed to be saying that. All I was told was that the $65 is applied towards the cost of the first visit. Looks like I paid $65 to figure out this is not the vet for us.
Took family cat we had for 19 years. Very friendly and felt sadness along with you. Very good place.
They were very speedy and informative, even though they had all pet owners wait outside. I did not feel like my appointment was hindered in any way. They are great with my dog too.
Very friendly and professional staff! Vet-Tech Larissa is amazing and super friendly! She knows Atheena outside of that office so it felt good knowing our pup didn't feel completely lost without us inside with her. She can be a handful but Dr. Dawn said she was a good girl this time around which was awesome to hear! I love the new location also! Ample parking makes drop off and pick up much easier. Appt ran pretty much on time and I have nothing negative to say.

Turned my wife away in a snow storm over 25 dollars and we have given them over 10 thousand dollars in the past 15 years they are absolutely horable people they do not care about what happens to your animal don't take your pet there can't say enough about how terrible and rotten they are there is a special place in hell for them
They with their sister place St. Frances took excellent care of my chiweenie Ginger Bean. They did all they could for her. Dr. Carpenter and all the staff treated her like a Queen. After she passed they took her gently carrying her inside. Thankyou. She was our girl. Not just a dog. They treated her as such. I wanted to add the beautiful cards they gave us and care they showed her. I get another dog noone but them will care for my animals.
Handled the pandemic situation very professionly. The girls and Dr. Dawn are absolutely sweet. Even though you can't go in with your fur baby, I felt they were in great hands and felt confident about their experience
With the covid problem, a little different but staff very friendly when you are dropping off your pet and Dr.keeps you informed via phone. Would recommend.
They took very good care of our ginger. Went above and beyond and did so much they didn't have to do even when we lost her. Thank you for the card as well. Couldn't have asked for more.
