Lemon Drop Lounge reviews
18We loved everything. We had Thanksgiving dinner. Food was excellent as well as service. We plan to take our family back.
I attended a wedding and a rehearsal dinner that the lounge catered on location. When I arrived at the rehearsal dinner there was not enough tables with the rest of the rehearsal party so my party of 4 sat away from everyone else. The older waitress threw us menus and asked what we wanted to drink within 30 seconds of handing over the menus. And then not 2 minutes later another waitress was there to take our orders. To say we were rushed would be an understatement. The food was 7/10, I had a loaded fry appetizer and the Lemon Drop Burger with fries. The price could be a little cheaper on the loaded fries for what you get but everything else was fine.
The wedding event was another story, the food was 5/10 there was not even enough food for seconds. The drink station came with tiny cups which encouraged purchasing from the bar. Half way through the night almost all of the drink stations were removed and for some reason all the trash cans were removed too.
The old country barn ascetic was nice but the place could have been a bit cleaner.
As a restaurant a pretty alright 7/10 American standard bar/dinner. As a catering service 5/10.
Went to play 18 yesterday. Greens are absolutely horrible. Sand traps are just holes with sand dumped in and left. The pro shop employees are nice though. Place has some potential if they get a maintenance crew that knows what they are doing.
It's a 20 dollar couse if that, and they charge 40 dollars. The carts don't work half the time. They have poor hospitality and they treat it like a country club, but in reality it's a farm!
Absolute worst golf experience of my entire life. Course was clearly not well maintained. Staff was incredibly rude. Will never recommend or return.
Reservations are highly recommended if you plan to dine in for the Friday Lenten special. Tess makes the best cheesecake! Staff members are friendly and attentive. They serve Pepsi products.
Great food, great service, great prices. I don't think there's been an item on the menu that we've ordered, that we haven't liked. And don't get me started on the cheesecakes, so good!
Really nice country-style restaurant. Food was very good, especially their famous cheesecake (save room!)
Reasonable prices, nice hard-working folks staffing it, and tasty meals. A hidden gem of the area. They have limited hours (usually dinner) so be sure to check if they are open for when you plan to visit.
We had our rehearsal dinner here and had wings, pizza, and salad. Everything was fresh and so good! We had about 50 people and the staff was amazing. Nothing but good things! Oh and the cheesecake was to die for we had strawberry scooter crunch, banana creme pie, and carrot cake!
This place is one of a kind. The building is a pretty amazing thing to see. The area is great pennsylvania scenery. I decided to try the wings and they were above and beyond. People were very nice. I will be a returning customer.
Tess & Bernie are great, we always have a great time there! Food, drinks and service is outstanding!
I'm sure at one time this was a great place.but not now.
Needs a facelift.musty smell inside.very dark also.
Cheesecakes are fabulous! It's like a cake on top of a cheesecake! The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice.my family likes to look out the windows and look at the musical instruments in the walls. The light up grapes are a great touch too!
Greens, fairways, and tee boxes are very bad. The cart paths are arguable the nicest grass on the course.
We had our family Christmas party here. The food was delicious. The staff TOP notch. Prices were extremely reasonable! We will be back:)
I've had two very positive experiences at the Lemondrop. The first was at our 30th class reunion three years ago, and more recently at a family luncheon for around 40 people. The food and service were wonderful. I would recommend the Lemondrop for any event you may be planning.
Got the chicken salad and the chicken and fries were cold. The homemade cheesecake was absolutely spectacular! I'm going to buy a whole pie next time! Nice staff and owner.
I've been there for several banquets and to golf. The food is very good but the cheesecake itself is worth the trip alone. 104 different flavors and counting!
I feel that this is one place that almost feels like a closely guarded secret. The staff are great. Super friendly and accommodating. The golf is challenging and probably one of the least expensive courses you'll find. Definitely recommend.
