Lennie's Hoagies, Philadelphia PA

I have been a loyal customer at Lenny’s for years and have never had any issues with the quality or customer service until today. I ordered a corned beef special and the meat was inedible and I couldn’t bite through it. I called not to complain or to get my money back but wanted a different sandwich as I’m still hungry. The woman on the phone was disrespectful and rude and made me seem like I was lying. I would not make the effort for $10. I will not order food from here again and I will be sure to spread the word about this wonderful experience I had here today. If your reading this and don’t know where to go… take a few extra minutes and drive to T&F right up the street the food is much better!

I had the Cajun Turkey hoagie i think it was called. It was good and different but not my style. I wouldn't get that one again but i would go back to try other hoagies

Rolls have gone way downhill compared to a couple of years ago, but the innards are still great quality and well-prepared.

Food was made Quick and correct. Staff was friendly. And the quality of food is beyond amazing. It looked like the meats were being cut for order.

We love Primo Hoagie, but Lennies brings it up a notch and a half! Consistently good, great sharp provolone cheese, awesome rolls, hoagies are NOT skimpy and stuffed full! Annnnnd long hots. Few hoagie places have them. 1 word: tater tots. Yep. Need i say more.

This is my favorite place in the neighborhood.the staff is super friendly and it was the best hoagie i’ve had in a very long time

The food here is great! I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner and I haven’t had one complaint! Ron always delivers with care and he’s quick! My orders always come earlier than the anticipated time! Very friendly and takes pride! This is my go to spot! You won’t be sorry!

The food and the people are top notch. As soon as I say "Lennies" my family is ready to eat.

A little kindness goes a long way and this establishment knows it. Every time I’ve ordered the order is correct, the food is delicious, and well packed. On top of that they’re fast, we’ll priced and a perfect example of a local business deserving support. The icing on cake with this place is always the delivery drivers. They are just genuinely sweet, kind and friendly people. Thanks for being awesome you guys!

This place can make a phenomenal sandwich. I haven’t had a better hoagie anywhere in Philadelphia. Their menu is big and I have tried several and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Make sure you try their Cajun mayo.

Very friendly people. Clean shop and the food was excellent. My favorite thing is, they don't load your hoagie up with lettuce like other places do. This is now my new hoagie place in roxborough. The chicken cheese steak was delicious too!

Been coming here since it opened nearly 15 years ago! THE BEST! I have brought MANY people over the years and most say the best they've ever had! When they come back they demand a stop at Lennie's!

A gem of Roxborough.amazing menu.super sized hoagies and sandwiches with hand made bread. Truly quality ingredients.the best.south philly style. Absolutely recommend if you're ever in this area check them out. They are the best in what they do.

Had to throw my sandwich away without eating it bc some woman working there decided not to wear gloves while she manhandled everything that went in it.

The other woman there was wearing gloves to make sandwiches, but this one apparently doesn't think they're necessary. It was disgusting.

If you're going to over charge for a sandwich, have the decency to put on your gloves.

I am truly appalled and will never visit this restaurant ever. No matter what job you have you should always be professional. I don't care if its sweeping the streets! I saw Barbara Cadden who is employed by this establishment go back and forth with a former customer on Facebook in regards to her attitude. I would like to know how and why she thought it was necessary to do that? I am more than certain that this isn't the first time something like this has happened based upon how she reacted. This was definitely bad for business. I heard people raving about how good the hoagies were here and actually wanted to check it out, but after the whole dramatic facebook situation and the crazy rebuttals. It will definitely be a no. My apologies but customer service is important no matter where you go.

Hole in the wall sandwich joint with delicious sandwiches that will keep you coming back! My usual is the "yogi bara" and it keeps me coming at least once a month!
