Optometrist LensCrafters reviews
17I was greeted immediately by an employee named Alexxis and she was absolutely wonderful to me. She helped me find the type of frame I wanted and added my no line bifocals and helped me with transition lenses color to pick by bringing me sunglasses in the 2 available colors. She ran my total bill through my insurance and a $50 coupon that Lens Crafter mailed me. My glasses came to over $1,300 and with what my insurance paid I only had to pay $321. I was ecstatic and she was a very competent and kind employee. I will never buy glasses anywhere else but Lens Crafter!
Witnessed poor customer service at the Selinsgrove location. Staff don't wear name tags (that I could see) and I know they are big on wanting to know "who you spoke with". After the customer explained her situation (more than once), one of the staff finally confirmed the customer did make a call to the store. She begrudgingly told the customer they would honor the agreement she received over the phone (how BIG of you!) but it would be the last time. They also didn't like hearing the customer saying she felt pressured into buying the pair of glasses she was returning. Instead of acknowledging her comment and accepting any kind of responsibility, she rudely told the customer they would no longer give her their opinion. GREAT IDEA! But, step it up and apologize as well. It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just because you're in charge, doesn't mean you can't be accommodating and kind. Both of the ladies "in charge" can take a lesson. And we complain about the customers being rude to the staff this time of year?
My daughter and I stopped in at LensCrafters today to have my daughter’s glasses adjusted. The sales associate was friendly and very helpful. She adjusted my daughter’s glasses perfectly, and at no charge. Thank you LensCrafters!
Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at this eye place. Upon coming in I had bought new eye insurance and paid double so it was active immediately. The lady was having trouble with my insurance and double checked with me two times I was independent and not through geisinger insurance. When my insurance didn’t work and I kept mentioning that she may have to use my account number she refused, sent me home and scheduled a new appointment for when my insurance “should” be active. I felt off though and immediately call my insurance company who confirmed that the only way to use my insurance is by account number. A new, very helpful girl was in there and fixed everything when I came back in. HOWEVER, while I was in the exam room my bf was in the waiting which she must not have realized because when the lady who fixed everything walked back out she lied to her and told her that I kept saying I was under geisinger. And then when I come back out and unfortunately had to go back to her she than lied to me and was all “oh I’m sorry we’ve never had to use the account number before”? And then through the entire purchase was completely unclear about pricing and specifically rebates. I was specifically told I did have to worry about the price because I’d be getting rebates and stuff and then come to find out when I’m having trouble getting my rebate it’s because it was put through at the time of purchase? Now onto my glasses. She absolutely could not figure out how to put the measurements of my glasses in right and asked for help. The man who came over to help was even obviously frustrated with her and then she says to him “it’s not working because my eyes are too close to my nose” which honestly made me feel self conscious until he glared at her and said “that’s not a thing” 1 out of 5 experience is way more generous than the actual number I would rate this person because I know LensCrafters in general is a nice place to go just not this person…
They quoted me $530 for a pair of bog standard oval lenses. LENSES, not with frames.single vision.no complications. The stupidity of it all boggles the mind. I told them to go F themselves, and I regret nothing. Imagine the _gall_ it takes to quote that price for basic lenses!
Edit: Also, look at how generic all their five star reviews are. There is no doubt in my mind they're paying for reviews.
When I came down for my eye exam this afternoon they took me right in did there test then I saw the doctor and she was really nice told me what was going on with my eyes then they took me out to look for new glasses and they couldn't have been any nicer so when my new glasses come in they will let me know.
Jessica was super helpful to us! After moving here from Missouri my wife needed her glasses adjusted. Jessica greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and had us fixed up within 5 minutes. The rest of the staff seemed extremely nice as well.
Amazing service. Tightened my frames and cleaned under the lenses without even having to ask. Took no time at all
Great service.
Alexxis was wonderful to work with.
I’m sure the glasses will turn out as well as the service.
Excellent service time and time again. Great staff and knowledgeable about their craft and all that pertains to it. I will never go anywhere else!
In the beginning they were professional and nice, but when I complained that one eye was blurry and I could not see well with the glasses, they decided that they did not want my business and told me to go elsewhere. They are great if your needs are straightforward, but if you have special needs, go elsewhere.
Friendly staff every time I come here; the business is very clean and nicely organized. Tons of options for not only glasses but sunglasses. Would highly recommend.
10/10 would recommend. They got me an appointment way sooner than I ever thought they would. Everything went smoothly and the staff was amazing. I believe their names were Monica and Mel. They were soooo nice! Thank you both for such a quick and easy experience!
Lovely experience! Helped pick out just the right pair of glasses for my mom and I. Will definitely come back!
Everyone that works here is very friendly and knowledgeable about lens, frames and the help put together the best product for your needs. There is also a great selection of frames. I highly recommend them.
