Lewisburg Area Recreation Park reviews
16Really nice park for kids I would say 2 to 8. Didn't go to the pool but looks used a lot by locals.
Pleasant playground with plenty of engaging elements. My toddler really loved the drums and noise making possibilities.
It's such a relaxing area especially early evening when everything has calmed down and you need a little time for yourself.
Fantastic park with two great areas with fun play equipment, one for young children from ages 2 to 5 and another area for bigger kids age 6 to 12. Lovely creek with plenty of ducks. For summer fun there is a pool to enjoy. Also an ice skating rink in the park, and a large picnic pavillion. If this isn't the nicest park in this area it certainly has to be in the top 5 in Snyder, Union, Northumberland and Montour counties.
Go there to play pickle ball occasionally but courts are in very bad shape with lots of cracks and slowly deteriorating
This is a beautiful park for everyone in the family. Lots to do for everyone. The park has the following features:
Swimming Pool
Tennis Courts
Basketball Court
Skate Park
Playground
Pavilion
Soccer Fields
Exercise Area
Walking Paths
When the teens are having as much fun as the littles, you know it's a good park/playground.
Nice large playground with multiple jungle gyms, and swings. They have age designated areas for smaller children age 2 to 5 and then 5 to 12 years old. They have walking trails, Skateboard park, tennis courts, basketball court. They have pavilions as well available for rent. They have a pool there as well open during the summer months with large slides, diving boards, handicap accessible entry for the pool.
Beautiful park with multiple age level equipment, spacious grounds, a flower garden, duck pond and skate ramp. Areas to picnic as well.
Nice park to take your children to and pets you can also see the Ducks feed the dogs picnic tables to eat and just enjoy the day at the park
Came here with my summer camp kids, had a lot of fun and space for them to play. Wish there were more bathrooms but the pool staff were gracious. What I really appreciate is, when one of our teachers started having an allergic reaction to a bee sting and forgot her medicine, the pool staff were able to help us quickly and efficiently with getting her some medicine. My thanks to them.
A delightful park that we used as a picnic stop while on a road trip with two small children. Besides extensive play areas that one parent called, "the best" she'd ever seen and a variety of picnic areas, the kids were happy. The 4 year old said he was thinking about the park before going to sleep that night so it even brought sweet dreams. And free!
We were traveling through PA on Rt 99. Looking for a place for kids to play & get some fresh air after hours in the car. Found this park - it's fabulous! Lots for kids to do & everything was updated & clean.
This park is clean and well kept. Tennis courts, skateboard area, large playground and pavilions. The only thing that would make this 5 star is more picnic tables under the large pavilion and cleaner porta johns or another bathroom would be great.
Fabulous place for children to play. They can easily burn off a couple hours worth of energy climbing and exploring. The pools are perfect for all ages. Definitely worth packing a lunch and staying for a while.
A great place for families with young kids! We drive through this area on rt 15 to visit family and this is a perfect place to stop for our toddler to play and run around on a long car ride while not going out of our way. There are multiple pieces of playground equipment, benches and picnic tables and trees for shade. Pack a lunch and stay a while.
