Lewisburg Delicatessen

Can only write based on service as I never got to order. Was immediately placed on hold upon calling. Waited 10 minutes to order. Halfway through my order was told to hold again and the phone was set down to take orders of other people. I was extremely excited to try this place and now I have absolutely no need to.

Stopped in for Quick bite. Great food and service. Italian sub was packed with great italian cold cuts. The bread was great. Owner very friendly. It will be our go to place when in town

Came in about 20 minutes before closing and was told they shut everything off bc they were closed but the door was unlocked. Air conditioning wasn’t running and the lady laughed at us on our way out the door after we asked for subs. Not okay in any way

Felt it necessary to leave this review, I've been living in lewisburg and occasionally ordering here for about 5 years. I love the food, seriously. However, tonight i took my girlfriend in for her first experience here. It was 6: 36pm, they close at 7. I was asked what we wanted because the panini press was off etc etc. And I expressed I wanted cold subs. Then I was told she didn't have any ham sliced and no rolls and they close in "10 minutes". It was closer to 30 minutes. Shouldn't matter. Close your door if you can't serve food. We were laughed at when I said we will just leave. I won't be coming back here again, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Also I think it's relevant to say that I've been working food service for the past 15 years. I'm not insensitive, and I'm pretty understanding of the struggle. Really not acceptable as far as service.

Italian panini was phenomenal! Wife had Chicken cheese steak said it was amazing! Staff was pleasant and inviting. Will return and definitely will tell others to try this place. 5 stars isn't enough!

Review purely based on poor customer service like many others here. As a person of color I feel like I would not go into this store again as i was made to feel uncomfortable yet again. This was the second time I had just walked into the store. The first time I walked in the owner was mumbling and making faces at me and it made me extremely uncomfortable. Anyway, today looking for something I decided to walk into the store. The lady owner came out the back yelling at me and my mother that the store is closed and the floor was wet and if we couldn't see it. Then she quickly changed her tone to make it seem as if she was concerned for us falling after we told her that there was no sign stating either. I am an adult and I know the difference between yelling in anger and being concerned for me. As soon as we walked out she screamed at the other guy at the top of her voice (almost scary) by then I was so mad and uncomfortable that I didn't care to listen. Do not care if their food is good I would not go in here And will tell my other friends not to either. I expect a rude reply to this review from the owner.

Unsatisfactory customer service! Honestly, this was the first time ever of being treated as a customer in such a disrespectful way. The woman taking my order on the phone was very loud, rude, and condescending! It sounded as though she was doing me a big favor, and I was her biggest annoyance. When picking my order, I pointed out that her tone of voice on the phone was very loud to which she responded that that's the way it is, and if I don't like it, I don't have to do business there. Good advice. I will not return to this place again.

I come here almost every week to grab lunch before my internship and it never disappoints. Absolute favorite place downtown! They are always super friendly and have my order done ahead of time every time. In terms of some of the other more negative reviews you have nothing to worry about if you (and your children) are respectful. Excellent place with excellent food every time. Note: Please add hot ham and cheese on a pretzel bun to your menu. It goes so hard.

Yelled at me for trying to sit my kids down to order without them running around then Yelled at my kids while I was also trying to correct their behavior.

The fact that you feel the need to argue my review speaks volumes about your customer service. When you were first rude to us we had just walked in the door and I was looking for seating knowing that if my children sat down they wouldn't try running around and then I could order. For some reason you felt the need to yell at me that I had to order first so that dismisses your safety concern claim. My son was not slamming the ice cream door shut as I kept telling him not to touch it and was shutting it myself. To be fair it was only one employee who was rude, there was a woman there that was very nice.

Great place for a quick lunch at a reasonable price. Friendly staff who meets your every need.

The product (mainly sandwiches, in my experience) is always good - I think that should be plenty to recommend it to most people.

Ya know, for a small town deli with a young staff, they do really well. They offer a variety of items including traditional subs and sandwiches. They also sell hard to get pastas, pastries and even hand dipped ice cream. Don't just look at the menu, look along the shelves along the walls. There's bound to be something you need or want for your pantry. I think I even saw unfilled cannoli in six packs by the front counter.

Had their Reuben tonight. Many times, this sandwhich is a disaster at other eateries. Either too much kraut, too much sauce, or just not proportioned right. Not here. It's spot on. Enjoyed every bite.

Next time you're walking old downtown Lewisburg, stop in and enjoy a quick bite.
