16Overall the experience living in one of their units was pleasant. A keypad entry system for both the front door and apartment door made it easy to enter and exit the unit and feel secure, while also making it easy for visitors to stop by. Rent payment were easy and done through an online portal. We never had any major maintenance issues, and any that did arise were handled in a timely manner. I lived in my unit for more than a year, and the renewal process was very easy. They gave my roommate and I an offer that raised the rent, but after pointing out other similar units priced at our earlier rate, they continued the lease at the same price. Giving notice to move out was easy, and other than a snag at the end with the security deposit, everything went smoothly.
I am new, but so far I have a beautiful unit and I could tell they made sure there was maintenance done to bring the place back to beautifully new looking unit.
I stayed for nearly 2 years. I lived alone with no animals. I kept the unit in great condition. Upon providing my 30 day notice to move I also requested a walk through. I was told “we don’t do them until you leave our maintenance handles that. ” It tool about 3 weeks after moving for my check (security deposit to be sent to me. I was disgusted when I saw they took $500 from me claiming the walls were beyond normal wear & tear. What they claim is normal ware and tear were smudges that were unavoidable due to killing basement flies constantly & 1 slight marks from the bed rail. I eventually sued for my money b/c had they done a walk through noting they consider those minor marks as “beyond normal” I could have addressed it for less. Keep in mind they use flat base paint which stains upon contact. I’ll tell anyone moving in there to do a walk through when u leave, make them note the condition before you leave. Also pay attempt to your lease there was a 4% increase every year which is proof they are in the business of high turnover among tenants in the unit. They also do NOT provide dumpsters which makes trash a tragedy if you care about the community & what’s outside your front door. Nice units but they are slick money makers. Not at all for someone who doesn’t have money to waste by moving again.
Took ~6 days after application was approved to physically move in, but the place was extremely clean, maintenance crew responded really quickly to requests, and all emails were answered in a speedy & polite fashion. Been here a month and all appliances & construction are high-quality from what we can tell.
A mess. If you want a good quality living environment don’t rent here. The hallways are not kept up the front of the building is a mess. It is embarrassing to even have company. There’s bugs and management is rude. There was one nice person I don’t remember her name but everyone else could care less. One thing I can say is maintenance was always quick when you put in a request. Oh and don’t mount your tv bc they will take most of your security deposit ($900 to be exact) Happy hunting:)
Tenisha was AMAZING! She was very available and always will to help and answer any questions I had. After coming from a truly terrible management company that ridiculously lacked communication skills, it's so nice to have a company like Liberty Bell that stays in constant communication with their tenants.
If you're looking for a property management that is great at communication, runs efficiently and professionally, and treats their tenants with respect and gratitude, you found the right people. From the beginning of touring the property to the final walkthrough, Liberty Bell was there for us. My roommate and I are so thankful for their help (Tenisha was our lovely listing agent and her honest personality made me feel that this was the right decision). They are straightforward with everything; no hidden details, what you see is what you get, and what you get are beautifully renovated spaces at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Liberty Bell to anyone in Philly looking for a place that offers transparency and care from their management company.
I’m a newer tenant with Liberty Bell Management and they have been nothing short of great. Any maintenance request I’ve had, they’ve been courteous and prompt. From the application process to moving in, I’ve had a pleasurable experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I have had a pretty good experience with this management company. The process was super simple and straight forward to getting to renting a unit. We were helped out by Dan throughout the process and he was a huge help to us. Would definitely recommend
I rented from this company back in 2019. They house we rented had a horrible smell in the basement. We made complaints. The next thing we know they took us to court. We paid our rent on time. Since they took us to court we decided to end the lease. We revive our deposit back and left with no hard feelings. I go to apply for a new place and have a eviction on my filenfrom this company. It's making it very hard for me to move.
Very professional. I veiwed 3 homes and it was very hard to make a selection all the properties were beautifully done and affordable.
I've been renting from Liberty Bell Management since July. I have not had many issues, but I enjoy how quick assistance is available upon and request needed for maintenance if/when needed. I also really love the online sit for tenants to access and pay their rent and make comments or requests. It's very easy to use. My experience thus far has been great! Thank you.

I am very happy to be renting with Liberty Bell Management. They're so professional and very quick to respond. I was fortunate enough to move into a brand new construction building and haven't had any major problem yet beside a small leak that's being taken care of! Originally I was suppose to move in this weekend but due to the winter storm that just pasted they allowed me to move in before the storm. Dan was very helpful and super quick to responding back and providing update during the whole process. I high recommend renting with liberty bell!
I love the way all the house’s is updated and new very nice they have all new things in the house’s they update all the house with new floors kitchen bedrooms bedroom rugs stove everything I love to rent a house that have everything updated inside
I went to see a place on Thursday…loved what I saw, started the application process as soon as I got home, they said someone would get back to me. So it’s Wednesday and after calling since Monday to see what the status of my application…they finally called me back to let me know that they rented the place out 2 days ago, I’m not mad about them renting out to somebody else, it’s how unprofessional they was to not give me a call and let me know they chose someone else.
I really love renting with Liberty bell management! I’ve been with the company 3yrs! This is my 2nd home with them, and we’re totally satisfied! The houses are beautiful! I have no issues and if there’s an maintenance issues, when I call Jamie, I’m greeted nicely, and my issues are met with concern, and scheduled with specious appointments! The maintenance team all of them are very professional, kind, and experienced and explains what they’ve corrected! All of the staff there are wonderful, understanding & supportive! I appreciate them, because thy always adhere to my family’s needs! But those maintenance guys are 100%! Thank you all for my beautiful home! S & E Watson
