Liberty Pointe Apartment Homes on Highland

My experience started out great, but I’m not impressed with the new management. It’s also upsetting we weren’t able to use half of the amenities due to the pandemic and complying with regulations, yet we’re still paying top dollar for these amenities and being charged gas for the common area although we cannot use it. The elevators in most of the buildings have been broken for months which is a huge bummer. They took over the business center for their office due to damage to the front of the building so tenants cannot use yet ANOTHER area. The utility payments are three or so months behind due to the new owners switching billing which was quite annoying.

We will never again rent from Liberty Pointe Apartments or another Greystar location. Our apartment had several maintenance issues that were never addressed. We had large gaps in between our doors to the patio and front entrance. We had to stuff cardboard in the gaps to keep from letting in cold air and whatever else was coming in. This was while the Pandemic was in full swing. We froze in the winter because so much air was coming in. In the Summer bugs, wasps and ants came in. We had to spray weekly. One thing to keep in mind you will never be up to date on your utilities as the date they say you owe for is not in real time. You are paying for two months prior. Also, during the Pandemic, common areas were not open but they charged us a gas fee for the common areas. What happened to treating renters as human beings and not just another fee to collect. The person above us, you could hear a lot of noise. Consider renting from a private individual before you make the mistake of renting at Liberty Pointe or another Greystar location. Trust me, you will spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to attempt to live here.

I just moved into Liberty Pointe and I love it! Jackie was wonderful and a huge help getting my boyfriend and I all moved into our new place, everything is newly renovated in the apartment and super cozy! The office staff is very friendly and helpful! The pool & workout center is so nice and everything is kept very clean and updated! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment. The location is great too which is a plus! Right by everything. I am very happy to be living here!

Beautiful well kept apartments and grounds. Management personnel are knowledgeable and considerate. Maintenance is top notch. If your looking for carefree living in an upscale neighborhood (complex) this is it. After 18 months Of living here I will recommend Liberty Pointe.

I have lived here 2 years. It has some nice points and some drawbacks.
The location is great, you have everything around.
The maintenance is responsive and the management team is so nice. Charlie is the nicest property manager you would ever meet. He tries his best to keep you satisfied. He deserves a lot of credit for his job.

The community looks nice and is well kept and clean.

It was really easy to submit the application (with zero fee) and move in.

There are 2 minor things I should mention:
Depending on the building you are in, it might be noisy because of Route 19 that goes by the community.

There is a dog park which is not really functional. No one uses it.

Throughout my years, these are the nicest apartments I've stayed. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The amenities are top notch. I cannot recommend these apartments enough.

I really enjoyed living here for 2 years. Great convenient location, attentive and responsive maintenance to handle any issues, and pet friendly. Unfortunately, I was priced out by the higher than standard renewal rates as my renewal rate to sign a new lease was a 6.5% rent increase.

Lived here for years. There is NO other place around that has the dining room space that is available here. If you are downsizing, this could be a deciding factor.
I am feeling optimistic that Charlie will do his best to promote to the complex owners and Village Green the improvements and maintenance that are and have been needed.
This is by far the best you're going to find in the South Hills.

The location and amenities are great! The staff works hard to ensure that our community life here is a wonderful experience. Friendly and competent, any issues are addressed timely. My mother loves living there!

I've never lived somewhere where the management is so attentive and accommodating! They hold multiple events for the community every month and they care deeply about their residents. Charlie has been amazing! He's always helpful and if we ever have a maintenance issue, which is rare, he is on top of it! The apartments are amazing and they even have units for those who prefer a pet free building. Love living here!

My husband and I have been residents for 3 years and have enjoyed our time here. The staff is excellent attentive and efficient. We really enjoy being here.

My wife and I moved into the community just over 2 months ago and we absolutely love it. The staff is incredibly helpful and it's evident that the resident comes first. A total dog lovers community, they have really thought of everything! We absolutely love it here!

Very peaceful place to live. Maintenance is very professional. Charlie and Ashley always very attentive. The community participation events are interesting. We feel good living here.

Liberty Pointe is a wonderful place to live! It is close to shopping, dining and transportation to downtown. The staff is always responsive, friendly and put in extra effort to make it a fun and welcoming place to live. They host several resident events every month that are a great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends!

It starts the moment you make the left from Highland Rd.into the Community - a deep relaxing sigh. Like you had no idea you had been holding your breath during a day of busyness, projects and stresses. Just looking at the stunning landscaping at the entrance begins to soothe these thoughts of the day.
As you wind your way through flowers and trees, you see neighbors chatting, dogs being walked, couples walking and contractors bringing yet another living space to a higher level of beauty.
Each building welcomes dozens of residents with tall windows and open floor plans. The staff are not intrusive and yet always ready to offer a smile or a wave or a helpful answer to questions.
After only a month and a half, I can say that Liberty Pointe is truly a place to call home and a gem hidden in plain sight.

Maintenance is always prompt. For the first month, they only charge you for the days you actually lived, instead of the whole month. This is very reasonable.

Right across the street from mall and short walk to the T. Very pet friendly. Really cares about their residents.

We have little time living at Liberty point, and we are really happy to have decided to live here, gardens are always well-kept, swimming pool is very well maintained, the best, people are always attentive to help you if you need it, I recommend it 100%.

Liberty Pointe is a great community to live in! The neighbors and staff are so friendly. Wonderful property manager who works hard to schedule community events! The location is perfect as well! So close to shopping, restaurants, etc! I highly recommend this community!
