Lidl, Reading PA

Tried to go into the store with my service animal and the manager blocked the entrance refusing to let me in.

I like it. They have things you can't get at Redners or Giant. They are also cheaper than those two

Prices are very reasonable and they had some things there I was looking for and on sale. Only downside to the store is there's no self check out.

Clean, well-stocked grocery store with a wide variety of products available at affordable prices. This location also has a fresh in-store bakery. The associates were pleasant and professional.

I had a great experience. I Was in line with just a few items and the lady in front of me paid for my groceries. I was surprised. I said thank you so much, but you didn't have to do that, but she insisted. Wow! There still good people out there. Thank you

I have been shopping at Lidl since opening day of the store until now. The selection of produce and meats are ideal. It's hard not to buy their delicious croissants from the bakery dept each week. It's wonderful to see familiar faces who are helpful when I have a question. The store is always well stocked and clean. I invite friends to shop here as well.

Prices are good, their meats are a good value and quality, selection is sometimes lacking.

Great prices. My new shopping store for food and non food items. Prices today (2023) are too high, but this store provides plenty of fresh products at more than reasonable prices!

First time there, and I was surprised at how nice the produce looked. Prices are good and I will be back.

The staff is miserable. Every time I purchase items here, some of the prices are wrong on the receipt. I then have to wait for a manager to correct it. It’s extremely frustrating.

Large, clean store with wide aisles and good selection of products. Reasonable prices. Picked up a nice bouquet of tulips during our most recent visit. Being German owned, would like to see a better selection German items on the shelves.

Love me some Lidl. The produce can be sketchy, though the meat, cheese, hummus, and baked goods are exceptional. Well worth a visit. This location offers a wine and beer selection of national brands (e.g. No "Lidl" private-label booze). Worth a visit in a world of too many average and below average grocery stores.

When leaving the store, my car got hit by the employee pushing the carts. After talking to the manager, he reporting it to corporate and told me I would be called. I never received a call. I called them and left multiple messages and never got called back. Talked to the manager again, and he said he would talk to them and still nothing. Their customer service is useless.

Very clean store with great savings, not to mention one of a kind items. Love their Cresent rolls

Great selection of modestly priced grocery's I love the tea biscuits they are great with a cupper of tea

A lot of value here, And the fresh bakery when coming in the door always is great. Try the pizza bread as a snack!

Good produce prices, nice and clean, nice cashier but people on the floor were not that engaging. A step up from Aldis. To bad neither is a USA based company.

Lidl is great! I love Lidl! They have so much organic products that its not even funny. I'm so happy Lidl is finally here (in the U. S.).

Edit on 10/19/2022. They are now selling beers but only name brand beer. I was hoping for Lidl's Award Winning Signature Beers which they are not selling at this location bc apparently for them to be able to sell beer in Pennsylvania YOU have buy it from an OFFICIAL PA DISTRIBUTER. Which means Lidl would have to purchase their OWN beer from Pennsylvania. WTH, talk about a corrupt state.

Edit 2 on 1/17/2023. Lidl is doubling down on their once liberal return policy. The problem occurred when I tried to do a return on some clothes item at which point I was informed that item was no longer showing up in their system and would only return 99 cents even though I paid $14.99 for said item. I obviously refused and informed them this seems fishy at best. Aldi has never refused an item even if a year old. Will be looking further into this then. Anyways, I redid the stars down to 3 bc of this incident.

Wonderful layout inside as well as super low competitive pricing! I really might make this my go to store when it comes to food shopping.
