Rented a unit today and was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and rates. I assumed the rent here would be astronomical, but I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Super friendly staff, I was quickly able to find the right unit at a great price. The manager, Andree Constant was very helpful and worked to get me set up effortlessly. The rental terms are very straightforward and I was able to start moving in right away. The facility is very clean and well staged for loading and unloading. So far, I am very happy that I choose Life Storage in Newtown.

I signed a contract in April 2023 for $65 for 6 months for a 5x10 unit. Thereafter, Life Storage raised the price to *$140*! I’m currently out of state and at their mercy. I was told by the representative that I’m free to sue. Thus, I will be reporting my experience to the PA attorney-general’s office and otherwise evaluating my legal options. In my opinion, this business is corrupt, abusive and predatory. Do business with them at your own risk.

Response to business owner: The fact that your facility is nice is no excuse for implementing abusive price increases. I spoke to you on the phone, and you offered to lower the rate to $115, which is still nearly double the original $65 contract price. You should be ashamed. I’ll take my chances with the AG’s office and the legal system.
