Lighthouse Educational Consultants have really made an impact in our household! We have 2 children with additional needs. When navigating the IEP for my 2nd grader - they were instrumental in helping us understand our options so we could better advocate for his needs. I was equally blown away when trying to coordinate additional services for my 3 years old with the CCIU. I was having trouble getting timely responses from the IU - until I let them know I had an advocate. Once they knew L. E. C.was involved, they started responding to emails within an hour, and my son is now happily thriving with his new services! These ladies are magical! They are professional, knowledgable, and most importantly they care about the kids and families. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I worked with Christine Herman who was very quick to respond, is incredibly empathic, experienced, and full of valuable wisdom to assist in navigating the best options, resources, and providers for kiddos while advocating for their individualized needs. I highly recommend this awesome Chester county resource for parents and their kiddos! I was connected immediately to someone who will assist and support us as we transition into parenting a high schooler…which puts me at great ease! Thank you!

Christine and Sarah really focus on empowering the parents with pertinent information. They helped me review my son's existing IEP and provided recommendations to align with my concerns and the information from his psychoeducational evaluation. They guided me on the right questions to ask the teachers and the district prior to the IEP meeting so I came prepared. They are very responsive to emails and always willing to meet to discuss. I'm sure I'll be in touch next year when it's IEP time again!
