PGW could not fix my heater and they left a tag in the heater that I couldn’t use it until it was fixed, the temperature dropped completely in November that the house felt too cold. I am 63 years old with low income. I call the LIHEAP CRISIS early, I explained my problem to the lady who answered the phone and ended up telling me that she had to answer a lot of calls and that then they were going to call me back.
I waited five hours and I called again, other person answered the phone, asked me questions, make the application and ended up saying that I had to wait 48 hours to get information. This event happened on November 27,2023, I called again in December first because I had not received any call to fix my heater. My surprise when I am explaining to the lady her answer is that they only responsibility for them is to filled out the information, send to that Agency but after that, the customer have to call. Call where? If we don’t have case number will the agency listen to us? SHE GAVE ME SEVERAL NUMBERS TO CALL.
I didn’t call because it was wasting my time and I knew that no one was going to help me, I ended up lending money to fix my heater. I would like to know LIHEAP CRISIS WHO DOES IT HELP? AT THAT IMPORTANT MOMENT AS THE WEATHER WAS, THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME.

Having problem with compass for Liheap. Called office spoke to a customer service person who was very pleasant and helpful. Settled my problem one two three

Everything I call customer service I'm told that the wait time would be 4 minutes. But yet I be on hold for more than a n hour!
