Little Amps Coffee reviews
19Not the most kid friendly. But the cheesy croissant was so yummy, even the 4 year old liked it. (I know my kids were crazy that day. Last day of vacation. Sorry)
Thanks to LA for years of high-quality coffee that is so consistently good (and beautiful). Pastries & bagels are delicious, too.
Their coffee used to be really good but anyone who has had their cappuccino for the past 3-4 years can tell you that the quality of their coffee has gone down. I don’t know if it’s the milk or beans or the ratio but the flavor is not there. Ironically the Cappuccino from the Italian bakery shop a block away which isn’t even close to their staple now has better taste. It’s sad as this used to be by favorite cappuccino shop in the area but it’s not worth spending almost $5 for a coffee which is not worth $1
The best coffee ever. I travel a lot for work, nothing else compares. When I bring my NY or LA friends Little Amps beans, they are ecstatic. The Green Burrito has also become a life saving breakfast option for me. Harrisburg wouldn't be the same without this place.
Best coffee, great food. Great place to meet people or walk the dog. I’ve been attending the coffee shop for over 10 years, it’s still dope.
Older review a new account was needed. But we still go in as often as we can. Everything is still amazing. Plus they have their winter merch in. Amazing! Alsoooo.new art work on the Togo cups. Always growing at little amps!
We came in and got two espressos. Surprisingly, they served our shots with tonic water.which was AWESOME! (No other shop just pairs it automatically like this) Thanks for that guys! The espresso itself was delicious, and the crema was almost perfect! They do have a very nice food selection at this location (2 other locations). We will definitely be trying it sometime. The inside is very bright/chill.with vinyl albums and plenty of merch in the front of the shop. There is plenty of seating inside and out. I will say if you're not looking for it.you may just pass it. Nice little nook in the wall, so definitely keep your eye out. All in all it was a wholesome experience at the green st location. And the two baristas working today were welcoming, and helpful.and made sure my service dog also got a little treat. He appreciated it. *Note slightly bummed they had no whipped cream. I wanted an espresso con panna*
They are 100% LGBTQ+ friendly with a sticker of support in the window.

*Update. We have recently tried the cold brew & flash iced coffees. They're.life altering. Caffeine bean done right! Thanks guys for continuing to make our days feel slightly less throat punchy!
I truly don’t know why anyone is stopping into this shop. The food and drinks are overpriced (and it’s not going to livable wages for the staff, or even healthcare), they’re not a Servsafe certified location (or even try to follow best practice for food safety), and the baristas rely on customer tips to make a decent wage because the owner refused to put his staff first over the “success” of the image of his business. They literally just fired the barista that won an area wide award for barista of the month. Please go anywhere else for a cup of coffee.
The owner works his staff on a skeleton crew and claims there’s little he can do to improve conditions. Meanwhile, purchases the entire building the Green Street location is on to turn the upstairs into an AirBNB for further profit hoarding while neglecting the needs and wellness of his employees.
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
I just moved to neighborhood and walked over. It was 30 mins till close. I stood at the counter for at least 10 mins, no kidding, as the barista saw me at counter never waited on me and another person swept the floor around me didn't bother to stop sweeping and take my order. I want to support local but when you have snotty people working, it's not worth my time or money. Never go here again.
Delicious cappuccino and pastry. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Loved the music the baristas were playing (The Doors). Will definitely be back!
Chai was tasty, but the latte was undrinkable. Most likely bad luck, but for $5 I’d expect consistent quality.
What a great experience. Had a huge order to pick up, staff was exceptional and accommodating. Our group was so impressed with the coffee! Thank you!
Baristas are rude and very unwelcoming. I was greeted with a blank stare and tone of annoyance when I asked about a menu item. A simple greeting or smile would suffice. I observed her walk away without a word to the next customer in line. To top it off they made my drink wrong and didn't offer to fix it when I brought it to their attention.
The staff were wonderful! The coffee was great! But the egg sandwich was strange - the biscuit was dry & crumbly and the garlic herb aioli was kind of bitter & out of place.
Stopped a couple of times while visiting Harrisburg and was never disappointed. Excellent baristas and excellent coffee.
My family and I stopped in for a coffee yesterday afternoon. They were closing at 3: 00 and we arrived around 2: 25. The woman making our drinks was visably unhappy that we had walked in. She told us not to get too comfortable because they close at 3: 00. I don't know if she realizes how important her job is and that kindness is very healing. We were in town for the passing of a very young loved one. Maybe she was having a bad day. We certainly could have used a little kindness.
My breakfast sammie was by far the best I’ve ever had. Home made biscuit just melting in your mouth. Mmmm.
Their lattes were some of the best I've had. I was in town for the weekend and went both mornings. I also tried their breakfast biscuit and was not disappointed.
We were driving from Harrisburg to Chicago and stopped at Little Amps to get our supplies for the trip. Lattes and breakfast sandwiches, and cold jars for further down the road.
Amped up and ready to travel! Thank you Little Amps! ️
Green Street Amps.
Sit inside and inevitably run in to friends or take coffee to go and walk on Front St.
Coffee; the coffee is always served perfectly. Seriously my favorite tasting coffee I’ve ever got from a coffee shop. Plus dairy alternatives do not cost extra - doin it right, amps!
Food; the kitchen offers great breakfast sammies and pastry options. Mmm, and the two poodles bagel collab is awesome.
Shop; fun swag, quality coffee supplies, and delicious whole bean coffee.
Atmosphere; baristas are your vinyl DJ’s in a brightly lit, clean, and modern coffee shop. Outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day.
