Little Dipper's Ice Cream reviews
19Always get the Coffee Shake, because it's hard to find places that offer the coffee flavor.
Good old fashioned drive in place. Wonderful selection of ice cream and delicious soft serve too! And dips! They serve Penn State creamery ice cream among others. Service is always prompt, polite, and efficient. Downsides are a limited drink selection and charge for cones. A small hand dipped Penn State ice cream was close to $8. The quality will keep me coming back though. And nice extended evening hours.
This ice cream is either average or below average for the price. I would rather get an entire pint of Tillamook at the grocery store for the same price and better taste and texture. Quite disappointed
Very nice selection of ice creams. Penn state ice cream and others along with more frozen delights. Check out the menu. Try it for yourself. Bring a friend
Absolutely some of the best soft serve ice cream I've had. Always kind and easy to get orders. Sometimes the line can be pretty long, but who can blame them.
They serve Penn State Berkeys
Cute little local ice cream place with both drive-thru and outdoor seating. Penn State creamery flavors available everyday.
Pleasant little stand. We clearly haven't been out for ice cream in a long time. $16 for 2 small cones, tasty, but yikes. One big negative, no way to wash hands after ice cream melts all over you. No restroom at a food place with seating seems odd. Must be a PA zoning thing. I understand business owner benefit, but not very welcoming.
I took my kids there to get some ice cream and I've been going there for years, they said they were completely out of all soft surved and I said okay nevermind I completely understand. With out her saying anything else she slammed the door shut and both the girls were very rude they began laughing hysterically and started jumping up and down out of excitement for simply not having to take another order at that time. I work in customer service myself and there actions and attitudes were simply just rude and childish I won't be going back again anytime soon. They should have handled themselves better or at least apologized for the inconvenience. It's an ice cream shop and for them to be completely out of something I feel as though they should have said it first thing to someone who's about to place an order or had signs up saying it at the least before I started ordering it should have just been common sense.
I drive hours for Penn State Creamery. Now it's in a super convenient location. I recommend giving it a try. The extra fat in the cream makes such a creamy ice-cream!
We love our hometown ice cream place. And we always look forward to stopping in here. I love the types of ice cream that they have and then everyone in our family is able to get exactly what they want. We highly recommend if you’re looking to take your family for ice cream that you stop in and see them here in Mount Joy.
I frequent Little Dippers all the time with my kids and our friends. The ice cream is delicious. They have options from the Penn State Creamery, and less expensive hand dipped options. The flavors are always unique and there are plenty of them to try. They even offer a drive-thru with a large-print menu that is easy to read and understand. However, my favorite aspect of Little Dippers is the staff. Everybody who works here is super friendly and welcoming. That's the real reason we keep coming back! Thanks for giving Mt. Joy such a charming ice cream shop.
Yummmmmy! Wow! They really do sell Penn States' ice cream from the creamery! Delicious!
They have new flavors of great ice cream.
Soft serve and hand dipped. Kids, small. Medium and large sizes; cake, sugar, waffle cones. Sundaes, malts, shakes etc. Everything an ice cream parlour would serve.
Hours are 12 to 10 pm.
Excellent customer service.
Too be honest they put too much toppings in their blendini thing. I got heath and it was a lot. My hubby got a shake and it was very very thick
Great ice cream, great staff. Only downside is the size of the parking lot get there early or you'll be sitting in line. The line usually goes fast and the longest wait for us was about 20 mins
Wayyy to expensive! $4.25 for a KIDS cone and $5.75 for a small cone. Not even a small waffle cone!
Leaving teenagers to run anything is a disaster waiting to happen. The girls working decided not to make my order since some boys from school showed up. Had to remind them they didn’t make it after 10 minutes waiting. Surely with the prices you can afford an adult onsite. I doubt any of the teens are capable of closing to health and safety standards.
Too expensive took my daughter here 2 smalls cost more then 2 half gallons of Turkey Hill ice cream: (
