Lives In Balance Gym, Lancaster PA

This is by far our favorite gym in Lancaster. We have tried them all, but this one takes the cake. One of our daughters just turned 3, so she is usually the youngest in her class. This means she needs a little more instruction and redirecting sometimes. Ms. Sue is so patient with her and takes the time to make sure she understands what to do and how to do it. There are rules in place to keep the children and equipment safe, but nothing unreasonable! You also have the option of paying for one class at a time and attending on a different day to make up a class if you need to. The flexibility is great for our family. We look forward to the years to come at Lives in Balance!

I do not typically write reviews - however when it involves my child I feel the need to share. I’m attaching emails exchanged between an instructor, Sue and myself. My daughter who is almost 4 attended one class. During class she came to me to get a drink - what proceeded was Sue yelling at me in front of the class and then emailing me a few days later. Be the judge yourself of the situation - but I would not advise you to enroll your child here, instructors who work with children should be kind, nurturing and loving. * UPDATE* WE SWITCHED TO FUSION GYMNASTICS AND THEY LET THE KIDS CARRY THEIR WATER BOTTLES WITH THEM IN THE GYM! From station to station! It’s been wonderful.

My kids loved the gymnastics classes. The instructor is so good with the kids, giving individual attention when needed and so patient. The classes are very fun and have helped my kids improve their coordination.
