Locust Bar/Club reviews
16This little dive spot has a wonderfully diverse clientele, a fun atmosphere, and great energy! Everyone is friendly, happy, and unpretentious.it's just so easy to relax and feel comfortable here. We've visited several times over the past few weeks and feel poised to become regulars. So far we've only had the Cajun dry rub wings to eat.but honestly that's enough to bring us back over and over again.they are spectacular! Looking forward to trying other things on the menu!
I had the best time cheering for the Eagles Superbowl win at this place. Unfortunately they didn't but it was still a great experience. And staff was on point! The Cajun dry rub wings are amazing btw.
The food is awesome! Staff (for the most part) was friendly as well as professional! I don't frequent in the evening so I cannot speak on that staff. The owner is also friendly & as well as engaging!
Cheap booze, and Rocky 3 was playing on the TV's. Otherwise, felt like I was sitting in an Antifa hideout. Respectfully, C. Lang
LOVE THE FOOD HERE, THE STAFF SUPER FRIENDLY. SMALL BAR, GREAT WINGS, CHEESE STEAKS, CHICKEN FINGERS & OF COURSE THEY HAVE STEAK FRIES. VERY AFFORDABLE MENU.
Have to say Food in the evening is a tad better then day time cooks but it’s still fresh and cooked to order. Wasn’t expecting this place to have such an extensive food menu but it did and pleasantly surprised!
Fish Sandwich; I do wish it had come with lettuce and tomato but produce is expensive, I would have paid extra but it is what it is.
Jeff and Lisa are the absolute best! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and decent food that won't break the bank. Make it in during the day for a drink and lunch. It must be Thursday already!
I was walking home from work and figured I would stop in Locust bar and have a cocktail and grab a bite to eat so I asked the bartender if the kitchen was open the bartender left in my face and said no it's been closed for a while now he left in my face not very nice customer service especially at a bar I'll never go there again!
I haven't actually had a drink in some time, but Locust Bar, this is my favorite place to stop in and have a few. It's a great little corner bar right at 10th and Locust, very nice place, the atmosphere makes me feel very welcome. Had a lot of good times here. They have a kitchen, you can call in and order good food and have it waiting for you when you get there.
Best ribs in town. I'm adding more to this post from 4 years ago. Still the best ribs in town
One of my favorite places to go. Friendly service. Food is the best get the wings:) and atmosphere is very chill. When u come to Philly come to locust st bar and tell them sizzle aka Saul sent u. Peace
I order half Cajun and half fried I got all fried with Cajun season on the side customer should get what they ask that’s why you wax paper to separate your order and a bucket of fries is nothing more them a cup my first and last time order from here if you order wings I should come half/half six flat and six drum that’s what most people do from other establishments
Since I've been working at the Forrest Theatre, I needed a place to get a drink and a grub. So glad I found you, I know I'm late to this. Great atmosphere (all walks of life) but what really draws me to this bar is the menu. The food is fresh and well prepared, I can tell that their employees take pride in their work. Keep it up!
I love this place, cold beer, good food and fun environment. More of a dive bar atmosphere but great service from bartenders.
This place some of the best Cajun wings in the city. I truly missed it during the pandemic. It is to me the epitome of a dive bar. Dive bars has some of the best food around, rivaling some of the best restaurants.
Went down to Philly for the weekend and kept coming back to the place. A real friendly locals kinda place. The bartender AJ was awesome. Food was amazing. Try the calamari. Can't wait to go back. Miss you guys.
