Long John Silver's, Shamokin Dam PA

Stopped on our way home to York for a quick supper before continuing. Went to the drive through and placed our order with a very polite and plesant young man. His manners were impeccable! We wanted to chill out so we stayed in the car to eat before heading on. The fish and shrimp were served very hot which was quite unexpected. It was very tasty and we'll cooked. I can't say just how good it was. When finished a young man on his break saw us looking for a trash can and stepped off the curb to say he would be more than willing to dispose of the trash for us. What a great group of young men at this Long John's. The corporation and their boss should be very proud. Only wish I had gotten their names!

Wish we had more LJS in the NOVA area. Was passing through and the wife pointed out the restaurant. I made a U turn to get my fix.

I usually don’t write reviews of fast food joints but the service tonight was incredible. There was a younger guy with short dark hair working tonight, 1/9/21 at 6: 50, and I believe his name was Alex if I read his name tag correctly. He did a phenomenal job and was very friendly.

Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food fried fresh, and awesome decor! Ring the bell! Coming here for all my shrimp cravings. Perfect hush puppies. Thanks for everything guys!

Pleasant dinner. Not busy, so peaceful. Very polite friendly staff. They even said thank you when the bell was rung for their service. I had fish tacos. The sweet chili Salmon was awesome. Only objection was the coleslaw that was put on the fish tacos make the tortillas very soggy and fell apart when trying to each. Flavors were great. Fried fish was not greasy. Overall a good dinner

The all you can eat fish and chicken on sundays was a great deal but the breading was a little salty. Very good service and the sides were good

Food overcooked. Service was decidedly lacking. We felt we were bothering them just to order our food!

I love long John's but this Ljs consistantly messes up my meals and takes forever to fetch an order. Two weeks ago I waited 40mins in the drive thru and there was only 3 of us. I swear they only had one girl working.

LJS is the only game in town for fast-food seafood, and their menu is great and portions are hearty arrrr

This is one of only two Full menu LJS's. Love the fish & clams. The food is made to order so it takes 5-10 min.

Used to be better. Needs better side choices- most horrible. And where's the corn on the cob? Try to get freshly cooked food if possible.

It was O. K, Wasn't the best Long John Silvers Ive been to. First off, They were SLOW. Also their condiment area wasn't fully stocked. (No Ketchup) even AFTER I told the cashier there wasn't any. He acted as though he cared less.
