Long John Silver's A&W, Scranton PA

Love this place but it's never properly staffed. The employees always seem flustered and stressed. Please take care of your team and properly train and equip them. It's not their job to pick up your slack as a million dollar company.

It has been a while since I've been here. The place was almost empty, but drive through had a line. The prices have gone up quite a bit and it seemed like the fries portion was smaller than I remember. Overall, I guess it did not change too much.

LJS is a great place to eat due to their crispy food. However you should know this location does not give you that. I got my order 10 seconds after ordering it. Unfortunatelly it was soggy, not hot and boring. I drove 30 mins to satisfy my craving, and gave it mostly to my dog. Sure it's LJS, but it's not freshly cooked here. And there was only me and one other customer so they weren't even swamped. I'll stay away for awhile.

Went through drive thru. They totally screwed up our order. Had to go inside to straighten out the confusion. Food was mediocre at best.

Have not been here in so long but it definitely has the same flavor as I remember definitely five stars are awarded quick as well definitely gonna come back soon

I ordered a 2 piece chicken combo meal which use to be around 6 to 7 bucks now 10 dollars. The portion that I was given was not even enough food for a kids meal. I could of ordered a hoagie and fries from a place for the same price and had 2 meals. I will never go to long john silvers again they should be ashamed of themselves. Picture attached

Only gave 2 stars only because there expensive remember long johns to be good but not so expensive.spend 49 dollars on two dinners and a side order for 2 people could've went to red lobster. For those kind of prices.

We ordered several large family dinners from this location using door dash. We got fish, shrimp, fried clam strips and fries. We asked for extra tartar sauce, ketchup and cocktail sauce that was on the receipt. When our food came there were NO sauces at all. They forgot to put them in bag. I called them and they said we would have to pay Door Dash to come back for them. Even though they were clearly on the receipt and they did not include them in the delivery. They were extremely Rude on the phone and hung up. Well we couldn't eat our meal we paid for. Stay away from this place.

There was absolutely no taste of the fried fish, we end up throwing in the trash. I hope that the fish taste would improve so that I feel better going, spending money and enjoy the food.

My husband and I were in the drive thru at 3: 28 7/16/22. I saw the boy behind the counter pick wax out of his ear then give the customer he was helping a cup with the same hand. Finger in her cup! I told my husband abd we both watched him do the sane thing 4 more times. GROSS! WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

Very poor service, waiting twelve minutes to get waited on while counter guy trying to figure out how to do ice cream. Window guy assisting him along with woman who came out of the back. Another employee laying across booth on his phone. Another employee talking to a seated customer

So they were pretty confused bc I asked for a roll or bun with my order. I wanted to make a fish sandwich, I guess no one's asked before, they said, lol. It was good though. Meals are around $12, which you really can't beat for what your getting. Very big portions. My green beans were very soggy and bland but everything else was great.

Food quality was good.
Very consistent, always know what you're going to get.
Didn't give me the coleslaw which came with the meal or the one I ordered extra.
Takeout and drive thru, never know what you're not going get.

I remember going to Long John Silver's with my grandmother when I was a child. Saw this one in Dickson City and ordered lunch. It was every bit as delicious as I remember and the root beer tastes better than bottled A&W Root beer. Wish they had more of these restaurants. Even though eating fried foods has gone out of fashion, delicious food never goes out of fashion. Quick prompt polite and accurate service.

The food was cold when we finally was called to pick up order. They never filled the milk shake order. When went to get the milk shake the employee was in such a hurry to sit back down and play on her phone, I ended up with a cup of mint milk as she added to much liquid to the mix. No greeting when we entered and went to counter to order.

Food was just as awesome as I remember but we waited probably about 15 minutes for an 8 piece family meal

It seems to be a hit or miss with the food quality depending on when you go there and how busy they are. Sometimes the food was great other times it was greasy and cold.

My first time visiting a LJS. Food was ok (I think the chicken is the best meal compared to the others). Sides are ok too. Staff was nice. Place has lots of seating and parking
