Louise Moore County Park reviews
17Great place to run, have a picnic, fly a kite. There are fitness stations along the running trail too. Now dog friendly
Lovely place to explore. The sunsets here are always beautiful since the majority of the park is a field. It's not barren though, because there's also a nice balance of trees! The pictures I took are during a cold, fall day. During the spring and summer this park comes to life with greenery!
Such a beautiful park. Attending a fall wedding and the surrounding were absolutely perfect. It was an absolutely beautiful venue. Easy access to a clean bathroom and the grounds were so well maintained. Tables, setting, fall foliage and surroundings made it a fairytale wedding to attend. Looking for a place to host and event? This is the place!
The trees are gorgeous this time of year! We had many photo opportunities and enjoyed locating all the geocaches in the area!
What a beautiful park, the attendants were so helpful and very accommodating.
Our family event was beautiful. The park is well taken care of. I look forward to visiting it again.
The personnel was helpful, and the park was just gorgeous! When I was there for a photo session for clients, a groundskeeper provided us advice on where to go as well as some secret areas.
Lovely, huge park with running/walking trails and lots of wide open space to take in the beautiful scenery.
Clean park with multiple playgrounds, pavilions, tennis courts, walking trails, and bathrooms!
We used them every year for our mosque’s yearly picnic. We absolutely love this place and definitely recommend others to use it too.
It's a beautiful location to picnic, hike, or simply appreciate nature. If you enjoy working out, there are fitness stations throughout the walk. The trees are lovely, and they take excellent care of the property.
This park is one of my favorite places in all of the Lehigh Valley hands down, so peaceful!
Very nice pavilions and well maintained. Made fir a very enjoyable gathering. Would highly recommend.
Very nice place to go to very quiet nice people I take my grandson they often he likes it and he has fun
I will give 3 stars because the park itself is beautiful, some of the people not so much. The outright racism is quite obvious. We are 4 people (African American) 61 yr old woman, 61 yr old man, with an oxygen tank, 27 year old daughter, and 3yr old autistic grandson. What threat do we pose? You are the threat, not us. We're going to do what you want us to do, not go back there, You're welcome.
A nice park, but a few of its visitors are a little less than kind. My family is black and we've gone to Louise Moore a few times so my 3 year old nephew can play. On one occasion, these two women showed up with a child. The child was very friendly and said hello but the women seemed standoffish and encouraged the child to keep walking, asking him if he wants to go to the larger playground instead. Didn't think much of it because hey, I'm quiet and a bit awkward myself. Plus, the child was a bit older so maybe the smaller playground wasn't for him. When we went ahead to the larger playground some time later, these women turned their backs and within a few minutes they made the child leave again. These people think they're being subtle but they're not, lol. A few families have since tried to get their children to leave while we're there. We do nothing other than sit and let my nephew play. He doesn't even bother anyone because he's autistic and keeps to himself. Mind you, not every person has been like this, but we don't feel comfortable going here, and it's a shame because it's a nice place.
One of the men on those golf carts though, an older gentlemen with a gray mustache, he was very polite as we were leaving. Thanks, sir. You're cool.
Nice level walking paths! Not much shade but I am thrilled they now allow DOGS! I hate parks where dogs are not allowed. Make sure you clean up after your pets and maybe more dogs will be allowed in more parks!
