I am so relieved and grateful to have found this salon, that I am writing this review from my Lyft home. Kate was extremely knowledgeable about scalp-picking/trich, gave me great advice about managing the condition and keeping my hair and scalp happy. The salon felt welcoming and safe. Thank you!

I just want to take a moment to share my experience at this amazing hair salon. I came in wanting to try hair extensions for the first time, and I can honestly say it has changed my life in ways I couldn't have imagined. The extensions make me feel more whole as a person, and more confident in myself and my appearance.

Cassie, the owner of the salon, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to my needs and hair goals. She took the time to listen to my concerns and preferences, and was very deliberate and skilled in the process. Her attention to detail and expertise made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was in good hands.

All of the employees at the salon were very helpful and nice. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my entire visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the salon was very clean and organized.

I would HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone looking to make themselves feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside! The quality of service and attention to detail is unmatched, and I can't thank the owner and her team enough for making me feel so confident and beautiful. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to come back!

They should change the name to Gaslight Salon. After sending an online request that had been unanswered for days, I called the salon to follow up about my request for bridal hair. I got a call back a few days later on 2/10 from the owner, Cassie who said she had been on vacation and that she had several employees out with COVID so she hadn't been able to get in touch. I asked several questions about the process for having my hair done on-site for my wedding in November. Cassie went over al the details of the process. We spent 11 minutes on the phone and she answered many questions while I took notes. She said that there would be a travel fee, but that she would only charge the cost of gas, tolls. I asked for a quote in which she said my Mom and I would have to come into the salon to get an accurate quote, and that we can order more hair if needed. I asked what the timeline should look like and when we should come in to do this. She suggested we do this at the end of the summer, a few months before the wedding. I decided to follow up to ask some questions, and see if I could visit sooner rather than later. I texted the text line in which I got a response that they no longer do event hair. I shared that I had spoken with the owner and we had a very different conversation, so I asked for some clarification. I heard back from them the following day in which they stated I "must have had them confused with another salon because they don't do wedding hair. " I let them know I was not confused and sent them the record of my phone conversation on 2/10 with Cassie. They did nothing to make things right, just offered an appointment for extension, yeah right. I'm so glad I didn't wait until the end of summer to find out I'd have to start looking for a hair stylist then! If you chose to do business with these folks make sure to get things in writing from as they are very unorganized and the communication stinks!

Such a terrible and truly heartbreaking experience. I was a customer for over a year for treatment for Trichotillomania. I am from southern Ohio and drove to Philly every 8 weeks just for my appointments because I had been so happy with my results and it is a uniquely specialized salon for what I needed. My hair was starting to grow back for the first time in 15 years. I only had a few more months with my hair piece and I was so excited. One day in January we had an unexpected snow and ice storm which is of course out of my control. I started the drive to Philly but it was too dangerous and my car is not four wheel drive. I immediately texted the salon owner to apologize and informed her of the situation and that I needed to reschedule. I was fully prepared to pay the cancellation fee as I knew it was an inconvenience but it was not worth my safety as the drive is quite dangerous in poor weather conditions as I am driving through the Appalachian Mountains in high altitudes, high winds, and mountainous terrain. She snapped at me and questioned me about the conditions of the roads, quite accusatory like I was lying. She said “the roads will be fine in the afternoon don’t you think? ” which didn’t make any sense because I had to drive 6 and a half hours from Ohio which I had mentioned multiple times. I didn’t have the luxury of waiting until the afternoon. I made it very clear from my consultation that I would be traveling from Ohio for each appointment and they said that wouldn’t be a problem and they had people fly and drive from all over the country for appointments. I had never missed an appointment, always came on time, and was always respectful and kind to everyone there. I was always patient even if they were running hours behind and never complained. She even made a comment about how cancellations during Covid affected her business, as if I had anything to do with the pandemic. It was inappropriate and felt like guilt tripping me to come to an appointment that I didn’t feel safe driving to. Everyone has been affected by the pandemic which I understand personally as my family runs a small business too, however I didn’t deserve to have frustrations with the pandemic to be taken out on me. I have no idea why I was treated this way. It made me so upset that I didn’t feel comfortable or welcome to go back and finish treatment. I spend well over 10,000 dollars on appointments and the hair piece, tipped 25% on everything, spent over a hundred hours of drive time, not to mention the hotels, gas and other expenses it took to drive there, all for nothing. My hair piece of course fell out without the maintenance I needed and I have since pulled out all of my hair. As a salon that focuses so much on making people feel comfortable and showing compassion as they are working with sensitive issues, I expected better. The whole situation deeply affected my mental health. I will never financially recover and will never be able to afford any other services from another salon. I was afraid to share my experience for several months in fear further unnecessary backlash, but I never received an apology and I, and certainly no one else, deserves to be treated this way.

Cassie is the real deal- talent, skill, care and attention to detail, and kickass personality all rolled into one. I've used her the last two times I've decided to change up my color game and boy did she work her magic. I get compliments everywhere I go! I'm so grateful to find a salon where I feel at home, feel respected and valued as a customer, and can trust to do my hair the justice it deserves. Bonus points here are the great staff, the beautiful decor and the ease of getting ahold of her if I should need to change an appointment or add an idea to a vision I was trying to create in my hair goals. This place is a gem

This disreputable business scammed my sister out of FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. They quoted her a reasonable different price before the cut and only then quoted her this exorbitant price. She stated that she felt coerced into paying this price. I feel like a ballpark amount of clear prices listed both at the salon and on the website is a reasonable request. Why am I making this post rather than her? Because she didn't feel safe leaving a negative review for fear of harassment as she lives in the neighborhood.

Love and Hair Peace deserves more than a 5 star rating. Can I give it 10 stars? ! Cassie and her team - Ronnie, Kate, Jess, and more - are excellent at their craft. Their knowledge of hair (including hair cuts/styles, hair products, and hair problems) is unmatched. They are skilled professionals, talented artists, and compassionate healers.xoxo

From the time I first walked into the salon for a consultation 6 months ago, to my most recent appointment yesterday, I have always felt extremely comfortable, welcome, and at ease during my appointments. The salon truly is a safe space - and for those with hair loss, that means everything! Ronnie is amazing at what she does - my extensions, styling, and hair cuts are always on point and it's so nice to be able to sit in the chair and chat for 2 hours about life, family, etc.with someone so lovely and personable. She is the best! I have also had Kate do my hair when Ronnie was out due to illness, and she was amazing as well, so it's very reassuring to know that if any scheduling issues ever pop up, there is always a backup that I can trust to do a top notch job. I haven't felt this confident about my hair in a very long time and I owe all of my gratitude to Love and Hair Peace, Ronnie, and the rest of the amazing staff!

Love And Hair Peace Is The Best! I don't even know where to start but I just want to share with you guys that on Saturday was my daughter's Quinceanera and I must say that Kate knew how important that day was to me that she scheduled me at 6: 15am to work with my schedule. I can't believe she actually came in at 6: 15am and it was freezing cold out just for to make me look beautiful for that day. Kate always does unbelievable work and always goes the extra mile for her clients. Im so lucky that I found Love and Hair Peace the salon makes you feel so comfortable and believe me ladies once you go to the salon you will never look for another salon the work and customer service there is great. I never had so many people compliment my hair I felt sooooo beautiful that day. Thanks Kate for everything Who honestly can say their hairstylist would schedule them for 6: 15am I am blessed

Very welcoming environment. Kate does a great job cutting and styling my thinning hair, and that makes me feel so much better. I get lots of compliments on my hair after a visit here. Highly recommend.

Kate is my needle in a haystack! For the last 10 years I’ve been looking for a stylist who has natural instinct, amazing talent in both color and style and cut, and is forward thinking. She will listen to you and your hair desires and work to find a cut, style and maintenance that is appropriate for you both now and in 3-6 months. Her haircuts grow out beautifully because she truly understands the mechanics of hair growth and texture, not to mention this also contributes to a bangin’ blowout. Check her out-you won’t be disappointed!

Best experience I’ve ever had. I will never go anywhere else! Cassie is an absolute wizard when it comes to coloring! I’ve been through stylist after stylist trying to achieve the color I wanted and she absolutely nailed it the first time and continues to outdo herself.

The salon is absolutely beautiful I love that they have the windows blacked out in the front so people can't look in at you while you're getting your hair done. The bathrooms always clean you can sneak out the side door and get a breath of fresh air if you need to in between processes.and I haven't met anybody there that works there that I have not loved to death. I've never once been disappointed with my hair from there.

The staff here are amazing and so supportive. Ronnie has been helping me with my hair loss, and she's so funny and does a wonderful job with the quality of her work. I definitely, absolutely, 100% recommend love and hair peace. They are a life saver
