Lower Merion Family Medicine, Narberth PA

I love my doctors but I cannot for the life of me understand why EVERY single time I request that my bloodwork order be sent to Labcorp when I get to Labcorp the order isn't in their system.
EVERY SINGLE TIME.

My whole family attends this practice and I have been reasonably satisfied. My standards for GPs are quite low but they meet my most urgent needs and go marginally above.

First the bad: I have experienced some fat shaming but nothing completely off the wall. They have been a bit impatient with questions and concerns at times. The doctor is almost always at least half an hour late (and once several hours late). Their administrative and nursing staff are quite uneven - a few are extremely competent, professional, and friendly, but a couple are quite the opposite and that has been a hassle at times.

That being said, we came to the practice because my kid's amazing and brilliant pediatrician that I thought was the best doctor I've ever met (sadly) retired. I searched far and wide for a replacement and while I don't know that anyone will ever replace Dr. Becker, this practice checked the most important boxes.

This was the only practice that was patient and even moderately open to my crunchy tendencies while also not completely pandering to my whims (as some practices that make me quite uneasy do). They are also (usually) willing to explain things to you, are less dismissive than others and will research things they are not familiar with which is HEAD AND SHOULDERS better than every other practice I've ever had any experience with (besides the wonderful Dr. Becker).

I plan to keep my whole family with them (baring any unforseen issues), and love that it is a small, old fashioned
family practice in a convenient location.

Update: They hired a nurse practitioner, Debbie Pastrak and she is remarkable. Truly compassionate, thoughtful, and caring. Our whole family sees her as our primary and I cannot say enough good things about her - we are so grateful for her care.

I’ve been coming here to the Lower Merion Family Medicine practice for almost 20 years for my primary care. The staff is wonderful and my doctor, (Dr. Aggarwal) is very attentive to my medical needs.

I appreciate Dr. A for being on time, asking all the appropriate questions with kindness and listening attentively. She inspires confidence as she judiciously prescribes meds when necessary and follows my health needs with care and understanding. I also like the professional and upbeat atmoshphere of the practice. You can use my name but no pictures or other ways to identify me.i would like to keep a low profile.

As usual, Dr. Ritu Aggarwal was great during our annual physical examination in her office yesterday. She examined and treated my wife, Robyn, and I in her meticulous and comprehensive way. She responded to our questions with supreme knowledge and empathy. We couldn't have been more satisfied after our visit with her. We're very pleased that she's our primary care doctor.

Dr. Aggarwal is caring, compassionate and listens carefully. Her treatments have improved my health and outlook. The staff is wonderful and prompt. I highly recommend her practice.

Dr Aggarwal always puts you at ease and addresses your concerns. I like the way she takes care of business.

Dr. Aggarwal is thorough and clear in her explanations. She also takes sufficient time with patients so all questions are answered.

From my experience, this office is well-run with an efficient work-flow. But more importantly, the care and dedication to my health are of top quality.

We've been coming here for decades. Reminds me of the old home town doctors' office where everyone is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Aggerwahl saw me on short notice, listened to my concerns after biewing results of most recent CTcscan of my heart and lungs and advised me to seek an earlier appointment with my pulmanologist which I was able to do which her request. I am always reassured by Dr. Aggerwahl whenever I see her that my healthcare is in excellent hands.
