David that works in the shower area was very helpful! He was able to help us determine exactly what we needed.

Great place for home and garden projects. Staff is non existent and offers no help. You shouldn't have to ask for help in a retail setting

Went in to see about having a shower installed. Could not get anyone to help us. Husband went to office and guy said he would meet him back at the desk in that area well noone came so we left.

Took forever to get anyone to help then the plumbing "expert" told me they dident have the shut off valve I was looking for. After he left I looked for it by myself (new lowes so I had no idea where anything was) and i found it.

I Love Lowe's! The Lowe's in Altoona is pretty good, and have usually had good help from the staff.

Lumber department always a mess. Very unorganized. Lowe's needs to find a lumber supplier with better quality. Could not find one 2×12 in the store which didn't have splits and all were cupped as well.

I went in found exactly what I needed in the way of a frost-free outdoor spigot assembly and all the copper fittings I needed to do the job right, It surprised me that the item I purchased at Lowe's was $10 cheaper than my local True Value Hardware

We went to buy a refrigerator. Checked Home Depot, Best Buy and Lowe's, they had the best prices. We had to wait a long time for someone to help us and he had to get someone else to find the fridge. No biggie, we picked it up the next day and we love our new fridge!

Decent garden section. Brought home some mealybugs. Inspect your plants well before putting them in your population. I enjoy walking around and coming up with items for my honey do list.

After being told they have the items I need made a hour trip there to only find out they did not have them. It was a wasted trip

The customer service at this store has gone downhill over the past year or so. I can probably write a book just on the awful experiences I've had. I ordered a drill set and an electric fireplace over 2 months ago and still don't have them. Anytime I call and ask on the status I get "I'm not sure" or "I don't see any orders placed for that" even though the money was already taken out of my account. I'm going there tonight to talk to a manager and figure out what the problem is.

Good experience. Got what I needed and help was available when I had 2 questions. Check out was fast.

Went to the nearby Lowe's today Show Them an advertisement from Home Depot that there contractor pack was cheaper over at Home Depot and was treated very rudely by the employees in their found every excuse not to give the deal Altoona Lowe's employees suck

Normally a great store but today Sunday dec 10 2018 at 630pm staff needs some serious customer service skills besides the worker in the garden center she was super nice! But the cashiers were very grumpy and the loader who helped us put our tree on the car was soo rude she made us feel bad for asking her to help us load our tree.

Hard to find any one to help you. When I ask for help it was like they were too busy talking about each other. They have what you need, but you'll have to do it on your own.
