We had a clog in the shower and Lucas sent us someone within a few days. Our plumber, Steve, was efficient and very nice. He explained everything that was going on and what he was doing. The woman I spoke to on the phone was also extremely kind and helpful, although I can’t remember her name. 10/10 great experience. Thank you guys so much!:)

We called late on a Thursday with a plumbing problem, they were out 1st thing the next morning. Did a terrific job, would call them again if necessary.

I called Lukas LTD for a problem we were having with our Well. It was one of those jobs, a few other companies I called avoided because they don’t service wells or just basically don’t know how to do the job. We had been sporadically having our water turn off because air was somehow getting into our water pipes. Lukas LTD came out right on time this morning and were highly professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Right from the get go, I knew I called the right company for the job. Joe knew right away what the problem was and how to fix it. They did the job right then and there, which was awesome. In a short amount of time Joe found the well with a metal detector. Brandon, Mason and Joe then preceded to dig a 4 or 5 foot hole and pull a 50’ft hose out of the ground. Brandon who was very professional and knowledgeable replaced the foot valve, quickly and efficiently. In a matter of a few hours the job was done. To top off a great job. They gave my well pump a complete check over. ***** I’m extremely please with the job Lukas Ltd did at my house and I highly recommend them for their friendly, highly professional and efficient service *****. As far as the price they were more then fair and much lower then an estimate I received from another well known plumbing company. I’m very pleased I called Lukas and know I can turn to them to get the job done right.

Had a problem with my kitchen faucet leaking a bit, called Lucas was able to get an appointment within 2 days (non-emergency). The plumber Nick, was very respectful, put his booties on when entering my house, diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it quite easily. Unfortunately, when attempting to take apart the faucet some minor damage was done to the finish, Lucas stepped right up and ordered a replacement at no charge. Dependable, reasonable and responsible, what else could you ask for from your plumber?

They we're professional, they were prompt and they didn't dawdle and focused in on the job at hand. They identified the problem and fixed it.

Used Lucas for a plumbing emergency. Clogged toilet in my powder room, that couldn't be resolved with a plunger. They were at my house within 15 minutes which was amazing as every other plumber I called couldn't come for at least 24 hours. The only complaint was the price. $700 for one hour's work to unclog a toilet seems expensive.

Called Lucas and they are prompt and timely to repair a leaking propane gas line in the house. Gas line was accessible and they started the analysis by pumping 15 psi air and pointed out one location that was leaking.instead of removing and re-tightening the pipe, they installed their own company shutoff value which was unnecessary as the leak was on the thread not on the shutoff valve. I had outside work, therefore I have to run out, after 4 hours, they did not come up with any other leak and did not certify the leak was fixed. The bill was $750 and since I have not asked about the total amount, I paid the bill. Next day, I called the office and asked when will they come and check the rest of the line and asked for estimate. The estimate was jaw dropping $1250 to check less than 60 ft of pipe line in the basement that is easily accessible. I called another contractor from Philadelphia and I told him the story and told that I will pay $300 to check the leak and fix it. He agreed and he came and spent 2 hours identified the leaks and fixed it. I paid him $400. I wanted to help the local business but in this case, I will not call them again. I paid only $500 to install the complete pipe line 5 years ago and they are trying to get $1250 for just to check the leak plus $750 that I already paid. Not happy.

I had a leak and called Lucas Ltd to fix. It was a pipe leaking, and they were able to fix the problem within one and half hour, and the bill was $495. It was just too expensive. Then I called them and question the price, and the guy was rude and not professional. I like to support local business, but I will NEVER use them again. It was a rip off for sure!

Had two valves fixed and a sink drain repaired. The sink now has a chip in it. The home is vacant and the plumber was the only one in the bathroom. But Lucas is not accepting responsibility for it. Lesson learned. I will not be a returning customer. And like others have reviewed, the price was high.

If you see those trucks on a road, turn around and go opposite directions. Those people don’t know how to drive. Almost got hit at Buck rd/Holland rd by truck #34! Had to jump on a curb to avoid Colision. Driver don’t even stopped to see if they hit me. Awful driver! If the don’t respect other peoples, how can they provide top notch services?

I've been a customer of Lucas LTD for 7 years. Over those 7 years they've serviced two of my homes in Newtown. Let me first say the quality has been excellent, and the techs have always been professional and helpful. I've never had a problem with any job they've done.

However, as of recently their prices seem to have skyrocketed. At the old house about 5 years ago it cost about $150 to have a faulty hose-bib removed and a new replacement installed. A week or two ago when I called, I was quoted $385 for the same job. When I asked why the drastic price increase, I was told they went from a "time + materials" billing method to "flat fee" per job method.

This is not a complex or time-consuming job. I ended up buying a new hose bib at home depot for $10 and the tools to do this myself. I spent around $30 and it took me about 30 minutes (I've never done this before) but I was able to remove the old hose bib and install a new one. In the end I saved $355 from their new pricing, or $120 from their old pricing.

The bottom line (from my experience) is Lucas does great work, if you can afford it. Unfortunately I can no longer afford their pricing so I will have to find another plumber for jobs I cannot do myself.

I had a problem with my well not providing water for 20 seconds at a time after so many minutes in the shower. Both the individual who answered the phone and Steve were professional. Steve was at the house within an hour and a half of my initial call. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any issues in the future. As far as some other reviewers saying they think Lucas is expensive, I really don't think so, I would say they are fairly priced in comparison to other companies in the area.

We have used Lucas plumbing on several occasions. They have always been easy to get in touch with, flexible and fast to schedule to have work done, and have done high quality repairs. Would highly recommend.

Lucas Plumbing is the best at what they do! Unquestionably, the company you can count on to repair, install, complete your job and know it’s done perfectly. We were so fortunate to have them help us out yesterday. Brandon was the nice young man who worked at our house. They have done a bunch of work for us and we have been very satisfied. Not the cheapest folks, but the quality work is worth the price.

This is one of the best restaurants for brunch we have found. The wait staff is always on top of of things. As we go on the weekends, I highly recommend reservations.
