They’re really sweet and while a lot of Dominican salons gave a reputation for damaging hair, I don’t have that problem here and when I tell my stylist to use light heat, it looks really good and voluminous

My heart really hurts to leave this review, but in good conscience I have to be honest. I usually do my own hair, but every so often I go here if I’m pressed for time. I have been going for 10 years and never really had an issue aside burning my ear or scalp, if I didn’t go to the owner. I went earlier this year and when I went to wash my own hair later I was baffled. It was slick and stringy and clearly chemically changed. I have never had a relaxer or perm in my 30 years. I (had) 3b /3c hair but I can’t even recognize it now. I can’t for sure accuse them of adding chemicals but this is my story and it is true, my hair is ruined. I did however further feel resolved in my thoughts after looking at recent reviews. Luisyana if you have new employees you REALLY need to see what’s being used or done to your customers hair because this is bad business and irreversible damage. Please be aware.

I got my hair blown out on Friday I just washed it this morning and all my curls are gone. I have 4c hair very thick and today I washed it my curls had dropped. I have been natural for almost 6 years now. While washing my hair I smelled perm or some type of relaxer. Please be cautious if you still decide to go!

The ladies at this salon are indeed professional. The owner takes her time and listen to your concerns and make sure that you leave the salon satisfied. From what I have seen, all the ladies take pride in styling the clients’ hair so we all leave with a big smile on our faces - under our mask.

These ladies are wonderful. I love the way my hair turned out! They listened to exactly what I wanted and provided quality service. My experience was better than I was expecting too. They are honest, the shop is clean, they are prompt and great at what they do. I will be back next time I am in Philadelphia.

I hhave been to this hair salon three times and you girls have been so helpful with me beening disabled my husband and i truely appreciate the generosity and i am so glad it snear by about 5 minutes away from my home when i leave my hair feels wonderful thanks to you girls soo much for your help and patients professionalism you bought my hair back to life after i damaged it with a relaxer thank you a tjousand times you where a blessing to me from god keep up the great work my next move for my hair will be color. The woman w the middle chair. She may be trans, the problem is she ripped through my hair after asking her to comb out beginning at the ends. I had to remind her, she still continued throughout my hair. They offer a DETANGLING, she choose to RIP my hair out, try to hide it under the towel, finish and run outta the shop before I even paid at the front. My appt was @4, she started maybe 20 mins after. She had me so upset from her disconsideration for the state of my hair, I have healthy even ends hair, natural. I cld hve punch this lady in the face

I'm satisfied with my hair as always, I've been wearing protective styles recently so its been awhile, but I needed a good wash, blow and trim. Prices have gone up since the pandemic $40 for wash, $10 for trim and if you want additional curls that's another $10 and a deep conditioner is another $10. I understand they are seeing less customers right now so no more specials are happening earlier in the week.
