Summary: Avoid CRNP Catherine Davis
We took our healthy newborn here for an appointment, and CRNP Davis baselessly claimed that the child was malnourished, and wanted another appointment the following day. We didn't want to drive that far again for something completely unnecessary, so we decided to switch to another provider. So, Davis's office did the mature thing and report us to CPS for neglect. We will be filing a formal complaint with the Department of Health.

Very rude NP Cathrine Davis. Pushed me to try and stop breastfeeding and move to formula and when i told her no she told me she is concerned about my sons weight.my son lost LESS THEN A POUND of his original birthweight, and they said i need to drive back the next day for another weight check (they are 40 minutes from me).
My son also has consistent wet/dirty diapers and she said “his lips were a little dry, he must be dehydrated” and pushed the formula issue.funny thing is, those “dry lips” weren’t dry, it was dried breast milk.when i got snippy back, i told them i was not coming back to the office and we are going to find another pediatrician they called C&Y.this office sucks.

My fiancee took our newborn there and it was nothing but a horrible experience and as unprofessional as it comes. Even BEFORE going there and scheduling appointments they kept saying she HAD to be there today and the scheduled time was non negotiable. And as directed from the hospital they told her she cannot carry our baby and car seat on her own and she could not do that time because nobody would be able to go with her. When told this they said it's mandatory and said that I (father) should leave work with only a few hours notice. News flash that's not how today's world works. She agreed to an appointment but upon arrival when she carried our baby into the hospital they yelled at her saying she couldn't be carrying him and the car seat even though they forced the appointment. And once in the appointment her nurse practitioner Catherine H. Davis was further unprofessional causing an argument with my fiancee saying that she should be feeding formula instead of breast milk and that by not doing so we aren't taking proper care of our child. My fiancee stated that she's not going to deal with the aggressive providers and unfair scheduling and we will be switching providers. After getting home (the same day) we found that that nurse called CPS because "we are refusing care by cancelling appointments. " This is a low move by LVPG as a whole by using that as a threat to force you to stay with their providers. I highly recommend to avoid LVPG offices.

I often feel as though they are rushing no matter which provider we choose. It was hard getting sick appointments. Sadly that's not the main issue. I was just sent a collections notice from bills that I never received from 2018-2020. These bills would have been handled if I received them, however, I should have never received bills because my children were covered under 2 insurances the entire time, without a lapse. They failed to do their job and now I am required to jump through hoops to get this taken care of. I was threatened that they wouldn't take me back if I chose to go to St Luke's for a wellness appointment for a different child and they promised they'd cover the appointment, even though they don't normal take an insurance I had to switch to temporarily (when UHC was dropped from PA) This was a lie and that bill also landed in collections because no one there will take action or responsibility for what they did.

Editing since it will not let me reply. I have reached out a few times. No one will give me the bills I never received and they said they can't do anything because it's in collections.

We have had wonderful experiences at this office with our son. Dr. Saltz is phenomenal and we feel so lucky to have him be our son’s pediatrician. He is so patient and listens to my millions of questions, not to mention that he always asks how we are doing as new parents too. The office is always available for questions and they get back to you quickly. We’ve had very pleasant experiences with every staff member so far. Also, Leila is the BEST lactation consultant. She is so caring, helpful and sweet. We are extremely happy with our decision to go with this office and feel our son is getting the best care.
