LITERALLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED IN HEALTHCARE.
My husband waited weeks to see Dr. Gupta for a second opinion to follow up care from a very serious surgical procedure and post op complications. He was very eager to meet him.
When his name was called- we were brought down this never ending hallway of just exam rooms everywhere. Hallways labeled with the alphabet that just went on for an eternity. At least 100 exam rooms. It felt like a warehouse. Unwelcoming, white everywhere, just doors. No smiling faces. Cold.
The medical assistant who took my husband back never made eye contact with him once. No friendly welcome. No "how are you? ". No acknowledgement of our 7-year-old daughter in the room. She stared at a computer screen, took a blood pressure and got irritated because he had to take his arm out of his sweatshirt. Didn't ask what brought him in. We had his records sent but she didn't see it. Made NO conversation with him what so ever. Or any of us for that matter. She left and no one returned for 45 minutes. We left without seeing the Dr. The MA didn't have the courtesy to tell us he was running behind, nothing. Just left us there. She shouldn't be allowed to work for a physician. She was very cold, unfriendly, arrogant and just had no place welcoming a new patient into a LNHN facility for the 1st (AND LAST) time.
When we stopped at a check out desk and told her what happened-she just said "Ok". I am literally dumbfounded. I have been a medical assistant for 20 years. I am ashamed that ANY of what I experienced today was acceptable in healthcare. This cold unfriendly, "just a number" feeling you receive in this office.
Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. You mean nothing to these people. This was a disgraceful example of what a physicians office should be like.
We will never step foot in a LVHN facility again.
It's a shame too, you never know who is in the room. People ask other medical professionals for their opinions and recommendations for other offices. I'll probably continue to recommend St. Lukes from now on.

The reviews are spot on with trying to get through via phone. I was on hold for 29 minutes and they hung up on me. They blame high volume calls but I’m sure it is understaffing knowing Lehigh Valley! I’m waiting for the callback. Get you act together in a his office or hire a new manager!

It's impossible talk to your care team. It's impossible to schedule appointments. It's impossible to get a follow up phone call. There is zero communication, but truckloads of red tape. Don't bother. Please go somewhere else.

Worse place to call when u have an urgent question and your in pain it take 2 to 3 hrs to get in touch with someone. I have been there 3 times and they are not so busy and Noone wants to answer phone.

The nurses and doctor is wonderful, but the office staff? Not so much, anyone administrative is absolutely condescending and rude, the LVHN organization ties the hands of the doctor and passes the buck. Nobody ever answers calls (could you imagine needing to get through after a surgery?) And they'll never return a simple phone call, but if you're lucky enough to actually reach anyone they behave like you've bothered them

All i need is my test results. It's been over two weeks so far.my test results came from a lab and are in their office. They keep telling me someone will call me back, no one ever does.
When someone answers the phone (which happens about once every five attempts), I'm told I need to set up an appointment to review my test results.ok fine, i'll do that.problem is, the soonest appointment I can get is 4 weeks out!
I just want to know my test results. Heck, let me borrow a microscope and I'll review my labs myself. And I have no idea how much this whole thing is going to cost me either. This is insane.

If I could rate the practice zero I would.seems once you pick a physician, you cannot see someone else if the problem persist or is the same and not resolved. So if my right ear hurts, for ever more I must see Dr. X for that issue because if I choose to see Dr. Y it's considered a 2nd opinion and the office does not accept 2nd opinion appointments. Who practices medicine this way?

Dr. VanderStel is a caring and awesome doctor - the office is pleasant and efficient and, although it gets crowded, they do their best and deserve kudos. All in all a nice experience with awesome and caring people.

The medical staff was exceptional. They were knowledgeable and professional.
I wish I could say the same about the office staff. It's bad enough being on hold for 25+ minutes but then finally getting through to a staff member who promises to call back but never does is infuriating. And trying to get them to complete insurance information in a timely manner is an exercise in futility.

I am a new patient and had an extremely difficult time transferring my records to my new LVGP Doctor. When I did talk with someone (three different people) I was given wrong or conflicting information. I wasted an afternoon and I am still not sure If my records will be transferred. Now I am worried about the care I'll receive from the doctors. Not a patient first organization!

I have had several issues with the practice not following through on things. Called about post surgery pain never received a call back. Called and spoke to a nurse to try and get them to call my insurance company about a rejection of service and she was extremely unprofessional. Terrible experience all around.

Absolutely horrible experience with this office. I had a visit at this office with Alexis Brown was told to get some scans an that the front desk would schedule them an so i did. Moving forward their was a confusion with the scans and my chart notes i was told that i would need to be out of work untill scans are reviewed none of which was noted and when it came to my time being excused from work it was denied an now my job is at risk. Ive called in explained and instead of being helped it turned into a he said she said battle. I would not recommend going here and i will never return my self.

This was my second visit with Dr. Ashlie she. Is concerned explained what procedure needs to be done. She is a great glad I have her as my doctor the whole staff was kind as well

Wow, I find some of these 1 stars hard to believe! Yes, the phone wait can be long, but since the pandemic I find that to be the case with anything medical related. The staff here is fantastic and the floor is very clean. I’ve been going here for over two years. They started remodeling and it looks great so far!

Worst ever. Staff instigates arguments, doctors lie to get you off the phone. I've been insulted personally and religiously by the staff and the doctor. Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

I have been seeing Dr. Pascal for years. He is outstanding and takes the time to answer all your questions. A rare gem amongst the doctors of today!

I'm surprised at some of the low ratings. These low ratings almost prevented me from choosing this practice; however, my experience was excellent here. All receptionists who I spoke to were professional and courteous. I was able to get in to see someone the day after I called to schedule an appointment, which is unusual for a specialist office, and I was super happy with that. Once there, despite many patients checking in at the same time as I did, there was virtually no wait to be taken back to the exam room. After the nurse took my vitals, I only waited maybe five more minutes until my provider came in. I felt that my provider was thorough and took my problems seriously. She listened and asked a lot of questions to understand exactly what was going on. A procedure that she recommended was scheduled quickly at the end of the appointment. From check-in to walking out of the door, I was probably there about 30 minutes total. Like most people, I have a busy life, so I was impressed with how quickly I could get back to my day. I'd definitely recommend this practice.
