Taking my car to maaco I didn't know what to expect. The way I thought about it was just get the best paint job they have and go with it.so I did! I must say I was impressed. If you are thinking I've heard bad stories about maaco. Maybe the people saying it went to the wrong maaco or never even been to a maaco. From my experience I have a 2007 civic si with 50,000 miles so I wanted to get a decent paint job but I didn't want to pay over 3k. For $2200.00 I got a dent in my rocker panel pulled and the whole car painted, with new badges. I'm extremely impressed. Talk to Vincent if you go and he will take care of you!

Lol ok I cheated. I do love this place even though I work there. I figured if you love where you work that says something good about the staff and business.

We recently had a very poor experience with MAACO Aston. Put our nearly new Mini Cooper Countryman in to have the roof and mirror caps painted white (over the original factory black.)

Seems simple enough, no? Well, when we went to pick it up the first time, it was a remarkably bad job. Overspray, missed spots, painted over a "puddle light" which is below the driver's side mirror, badly irregular edges where masking tape was ripped off, etc. Perhaps the worst thing was that specific work shown on the WRITTEN estimate (R&R the roof rails and the mirror caps) was not done - instead a very sloppy masking job. Their claim was it was an honest mistake. We are not so sure - but will extend the benefit of the doubt to them.

Anyway, after we (justifiably IMO) "hit the roof, " we were told to leave the car with them to fix it all. Then, the next day, we were told by the manager that the owner instructed them NOT to redo the roof rail mistake (by R&R and proper respray.) Rather, they were to clean up the overspray and we could pick up the car - they would charge nothing and refund our deposit. They claimed a "misquote" in the original estimate, and that it would be unreasonable to do the job properly as per that estimate. We had no choice but to accept this outcome.

On the surface, this sounds "sorta" reasonable. When we went to pick up the car, they made a decent effort to clean up the overspray and even touched up a few of the very worst missed spots or sloppy masking, but could not fix the "puddle light" (which I replaced for about $100 plus my time to find, buy and r&r).

So, while I would like to give them a zero given our car was noticeably worse than when all this started, I figure a one is fair. They did try to fix some of it, and did not charge us. I suppose if your quality standards are really low, we may have done "OK. " They certainly felt so!

We relied on other reviews before making the mistake of choosing MAACO, which, frankly, I don't understand. Again, perhaps "standards. " If you have a beater you'd like to "wake up" I would be OK with this place. Quick and very cheap.

To be fair as possible, I have attached a few shots. These are all AFTER MAACO's attempt at fixing it up after the horrible condition which they first presented to us.

As a picture is worth a thousand words, the reader can click onto the attached pix rather than further detail from us.

Quality and price were exactly what I expected. The work that was done was good but putting my car back together they didn’t, my vent cowl on the front was not screwed down upon return, my spoiler wing was never mounted correctly and I got myself an entire socket set because they kept losing them inside my trunk area and up inside the trunk area so yes an entire set. They painted the wing and hung it but messed up the paint and promised to fix it but it’s not worth the aggravation especially since I waited 3 weeks for the car to just be painted and a door aligned which they charged me for and never did it. So 3 hours of labor and came back the same way I gave it to them. I ended up fixing the alignment of the door myself and I’m a novice amongst the professionals who know what to do. Decent paint job but don’t get nothing extra from them, the service was good and the guys were great. As they say you get what you pay for so shop around I needed paint desperately and this was the quickest fix at this point with car show season coming up

Maaco fixed my bumper for a quarter of the cost of what another body shop was going to charge me. I would definitely recommend people to come here for any work needed on their vehicles.

Vince is the manager or the general manager. He is awesome. Great help and energy. Everyone that worked on the car did a fantastic job. You can’t tell my car was messed up at all. And he hooked me up with little touch ups on the side and scuffs. Any and every body work I need done from now on, I will always come back here. 5stars team and 5stars management.

Only giving them a one star because that is as low as you can go. Dropped a car hood off to be painted and came back as a wrong color so the employees said it would be done a couple days later, well come a couple days later and it still isn’t done and keep getting told it’ll be done the next day and it still isn’t done so at this point I feel like I’m getting the go around. Asked to speak to a manager, whose name is mark and he flips out on me, telling me it isn’t going to be painted now and to come get my hood. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend this Maaco to anyone.

800 dollars for a single stage paint job done in factory vin code? You ppl realize that 2 stage paint is the same price?

Mark at the front desk was more than helpful. I dropped my truck off to get three of the fenders repainted. They had it done in two days and the paint matches the rest of the truck perfectly. This is the second time I’ve had a car there and would go back for sure.

The body work was well done as far as the sheet metal. I was informed the vehicle was completed. Upon arrival, the driver's side door trim was in the back seat after the vehicle was released to me. The entire interior of the vehicle was covered in shop dust top to bottom, and the lettering and moulding are crooked. The fella running the place is very nice, and I needed the vehicle to make my medical appointments so I just took it. Overall, I am not satisfied with my experience here, and most likely will not return. The meat and potatoes of the job were well done, but the attention to detail is not there. I paid out of pocket for this repair ($1200) so I did expect a little more. I most likely would not return to this shop in the future, or recommend it to friends & family. I would return it and complain if my medical testing schedule wasn't so tight, and given my experience I seriously doubt they could fix it to my liking in a timely fashion.

Update: Took my truck back the following Monday and they fixed it on the spot in about a half hour. General manager agreed it looked really bad. I’m satisfied with the fix. I’m still cleaning shop dust out of the nooks and crannys of the interior. But overall, the price was right and the truck looks good.

They have done very poor work with rough painting spots. Never repaired broken fiber covers. Very poor and they just want to rob you.

After Abra down the street quoted me a price of $7K, I went to MAACO and they quoted me less than half. They fixed the rusted body parts and painted it. The reason I deduct a star.when they removed parts to do the paint, they didn't put them back on and during the ice storm the next day, I found my rear wiper didn't work. It was removed for the painting and never put back on. Overall, I'd still go back to them. They were MUCH more honest and reasonable than Abra.

That was my 1st time going to Maaco they did an excellent job and had my car done in no time. They worked with the claim adjuster so the price would work out with what the adjuster quoted.i would recommend them and go back again if needed.the fellows was also nice NOW this is the shop on Market Street in Aston, Pa.
