Mad Mex Monroeville reviews
13Awesome restaurant, I highly recommend this place. I'll be back when I'm in Pennsylvania again.
The guacamole was brown. I'm not talking about brown chunks (that would have been 2 stars), I'm talking brown all the way through.
Real food & real ingredients.
A little expensive in my opinion but soo worth it. The unique artwork and decorations alone are outstanding. There is no place with this kind of atmosphere.
Made very different in all the right ways.
Great food at fair price, very nice atmosphere. Don't be scared off if you don't like spice either, most things start off mild and can be individually kicked up!
Best Fajitas and Nachos Grande you can buy. Also, the margaritas are huge. Great place if you;re looking for more of a TexMex food. There are other more genuine Mexican restaurants in Monroeville, if you want less Tex and more Mex.
If you like it spicy and delicious, u gotta check this place out
And the service was very awesome.
This is the best restaurant in Monroeville. They have a ton of vegan options and it’s easy to make certain dishes vegan. The food is delicious! Another huge bonus is they have seasonal dishes so you get to try something new very often. I always have a hard time deciding what to get. The service is great, I haven’t had a bad experience and I’ve dined here many times. The kids meals are great too because they come with a dessert. Love the atmosphere as well.
We go here for dinner as a family, as a couple or with friends. The food is typical tex-mex, beer selection is great and so are the margaritas!
This used to be my favorite restaurant, but about 2 years ago I had finally had enough after one particularly bad experience. Good food, but I doubt I'll ever go back. I've stopped going to mad mex altogether because of my last trip there.
Happy hour drinks. Tasty. Very good guacamole and chips. Had the Mad Max burrito. Large portions and flavorful
Horrible chicken quesadilla, dry rice, flavorless beans.in fact my dinner was ruined. I'm not sure what the other meats taste like, but even the sides were bad.that doesn't speak highly of them to me.
Ambiance is nice. Food was pretty good. Party of 5 had burritos, tacos and an enchilada, plus chips, salsa and guac. Everyone was satisfied. Service was a bit slow. Drinks, even water, took over 10 mins. Chips and dip over 15. Ultimate Margarita was not ultimate, tasted watered down, blech. Would probably return and stick with food and beer.
Their happy hour is real tough to beat! Great beer selection and food to boot makes this the top Happy Hour spot in my opinion in the Monroeville area!
