10Attempted to return an item, owner refused (he never asked if I had a receipt) he told he couldn't resell it because it was open. Item was defective and should gave been sent to manufacturer, not resold. I'll NEVER go back to Main Hardware
Good service. Questions answered with detail and accuracy. Call ahead if you need guidance on what to buy so you know if you should measure something ahead of time. It’s only common sense. Quality business.
I bought a 50 foot pool hose from main hardware. Took it out of package and attempted attach my pool vacuum to it. The piece on the hose was too big. I returned it to store, owner told me no returns since item was out of original packag and he couldn't resell it. I asked how i was supposed to know it fit without opening the package, he tells me I should have measured it.
Have you ever needed a part or to pick someone's brain for some knowledge? This is the place to do just that without overpaying for it. Good group of people that are both helpful and knowledgeable. It's nice to see a local brick and mortar, mom and pop, continue to do well! Cheers to many more years!
