Loved Dr. Vernace, but office staff - Anita and Julia - are the worst, so nasty. I had been trying to schedule a day to come up and do my pre-op paperwork and was explaining that I had no time off due to my kids being sick a lot this year and my youngest needing surgery this summer as well and asked if I could sign electronically or mail it to me and I could drop it off. No matter what, I was told no and then received an email saying since I was unwilling to comply with surgical procedures, they were cancelling my surgery! I had been to 6 surgeons and loved Dr. Vernace and tried to speak to someone else in the office to explain the situation and all I was told was, “well we’re sorry it isn’t going to work out. ” Unbelievable. I’m 42 and this is my fourth knee surgery and it shouldn’t be made more stressful, but the office staff made it a nightmare and now I’m scrambling to find a surgeon.

This is the finest medical experience I’ve ever had! Dr. Vernace and his team are beyond spectacular. They are one in a million! They have guided me through the surgery itself and the recovery, by my side, every step of the way. The virtual PT exercises helped enormously in returning, at age 75, to my active, vital life. My heartfelt thank you to the entire team!
