I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Dr. Bernardini and Dr. D really pulled thru for me after I couldn't get in with my fertility specialist due to covid. I will forever be grateful!

The doctors here are great, but the appointments have never been on time once in two years of going here. Makes it very difficult to plan if you have a job or life outside of doctors offices. Even with the first appointment of the day and just going for some blood work, I have waited 1.5 hours. Before my first appointment, the receptionist got every single detail of my intake information wrong (misspelled first name, last name, dob, it goes on) and it took several visits to get it all sorted out.
Still, the care is hard to beat, I might just try a different office location in the future.

Dr. Bernardini is a wonderful doctor, I've seen her since I was 16 and have continued to see her even though I lived in Delaware for a few years - she has a great bedside manner and has always offered great education without condescension. In addition, I had an IUD placed by Elizabeth Wisz which was as close to painless as that procedure is ever going to get!

However, I have to knock a star off for the difficult time I have scheduling appointments, as well as for the reception staff. It is VERY difficult to get a hold of anyone to schedule a routine wellness exam if you work a 9-5 office job, and depending on what time of month you call and whether the hospital on-call schedule has been released for that month or not you may not even be able to schedule. The receptionists at this office have been a bit abrupt and rude with me in the past - which is not the experience I have when I see Dr. Bernardini in her Malvern office. Rosemont is closer to me, but the experience in Malvern is definitely 5 stars!

As a regular patient for years without intention to find a new practice at this time, here are some recommendations that would make the experience as a patient here better.

1) providers: look up from your laptops when a patient is speaking with you! One provider is so bad at this that you can even hear them typing away during phone calls. I get the importance of accurate and timely charting but don’t underestimate the impression it gives off, especially when as patients we are always fighting for face time so that our needs are heard.

2) make patients who are in between pregnancies or done child bearing feel like they are priorities too. I’ve considered switching to an all gyn practice for this reason but I’m still planning to get pregnant again. It is very disheartening to be told that only prenatal appointments are being scheduled this month—as though the needs of the non-pregnant woman are somehow less important, especially if they somehow affect her ability or desire to get pregnant.

3) please improve postpartum care. Please! I realize that this is a multifaceted policy and insurance issue more than an individual practice issue, but lead the charge in changing how we think of postpartum. Do not continue to contribute to why so many women feel like their unique health needs during this fragile time are no longer important because they’re no longer gestating. If a woman delivers and is nervous about her higher than normal blood pressure when she’s discharged, follow-up with her before six weeks! If someone fails the Edinburgh test, have a plan of care before she leaves the hospital. One standardized six week appt is not cutting it for many, many women. And we are not going to try and fight to get seen when we don’t feel like we are priorities. It’s a vicious cycle.

4) Remember that we as patients stress so much about these appointments for a myriad of reasons.maybe we’ve had bad experiences in the past or are worried about something in our health status. We get a measly 10 minutes after waiting sometimes months. That’s it. I realize again as a clinician that there are days when you have seen one too many patients, that your spouse is bothered that you’re home late for the third night in a row, that you have things on your mind that you’re worrying about, kids of your own, charts that have fallen behind. I GET it. But leave all of that behind before you enter the room. I have one provider I’ve been seeing there almost exclusively and while the care is always top notch medically, I either feel like an old friend when I arrive or like this provider cannot wait to sign off on my chart and be done.

There is lots to love about this practice: very experienced and truly compassionate doctors, Prisca—who is a treasure in women’s health, three convenient locations, short wait times and generally really pleasant staff. But you need to do more to make us feel like our unique needs matter. I know you’re now owned by a giant parent company but you can still offer that community and personalized care that most of us are desperately seeking for ourselves throughout our lifespans. You can do better and you should.

Dr. Dardarian and staff are amazing at both their Plymouth Meeting and Rosemont offices. Top notch care every time, I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

Doctors and technicians are great. Receptionists are snippy and unhelpful. Please provide better driving and parking instructions. This is an apartment complex with one sign somewhat pointing the direction of the office. I can't be the only person who was confused by an entrance that looks similar to a freight or loading dock entrance.

This place is pure GARBAGE and so are the employees they are useless ignorant beings that simply exists to make other people miserable from lack of intelligence and knowing how to do their jobs it’s a wonder how they are still in business and that they are backed by mainline health trash

Worst place ever to go. I called in to talk to a dr saying I had cramps and bleeding 3 times not sure what to do and I got my phone call 5 hours later after I got out of the emergency room I was having a miscarriage. No guidance, I think that’s something an doctors office should take pretty serious. Rude and terrible staff. I’ve made appointments the were cancelled with no explination. Not happy especially as a high risk patient.

The staff at both Mainline locations are awesome! We have had 3 out of our 4 children with them. Definitely recommend them!

I cannot accurately give a review on the service that Main Line Women's Heath provides in person. What I can offer is my experience in trying to make an appointment where the receptionist I was talking to spoke to me like I don't know up from down and was so rude and condescending that I will be finding somewhere else to go.

I went to the Bryn Mawr office of Main Line Women's Health Care after my OBGYN in Exton refused to see me during a miscarriage (they told me to wait a week). Main Line Women's Health took me as a new patient within hours and helped me out a lot. I have like every doctor that I have seen here - they are all great. I would highly recommend Main Line Women's Health Care office.
