MainStay Suites of Lancaster County, Mountville PA

Our stay there was awesome, the service was friendly and made us feel at home away from home. We had a handicap room and stayed with our 10 week old puppy and the room was great, much better than we expected. The location was minutes away from where we needed to be and had a heated pool and served a bit of a breakfast with danishes, muffins, cereal, coffee and tea. We had a kitchenette in our room and it was a perfect long weekend. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was beautiful and quiet for being near a major high way. But my friend had a room there and I was her guest and the room had bed bugs. The manager was rude and unresponsive about my complaint. Staff was HORRIBLE!

Not a bad place, just older. Book direct with the hotel, it's much cheaper than using a 3rd party site.

This establishment is a disgrace. Kitchen handle faucet exploding and snapping off in my hand. Also Kitchen Clogged sink x 2 days, including on mothers day ruining our plans to cook a meal. Filthy full of dust many stains on rugs. I had two rooms. My son had bed bugs in his room and had to be moved immediately. No one informed the manager or any other employee of this. I called the manager Leigh Boyer x 3 days leaving voice-mails expressing clearly needs and concerns. I have never received a call back. Every morning as I leave for work the front desk is informed of me never hearing from ANYONE.
Toaster broken. Keys do not work every time I exit the room and attempt to re enter which has made me late for work numerous times.
The 2 rooms were not clean upon check in. After 7 days of stay I requested the for the room to ge cleaned the next day. I returned from work and the room was not touched or even entered into. I asked to stay more day and was told by an employee laying on a lobby couch and did not get up or look away from her on her phone that "there was no way" and now they are "booked up. AFTER I HAD BEEN TRYING TO ADD THE LAST NIGHT FOR 4 DAYS WITH ZERO HELP OR CALLBACK
IM TRULY APPALLED. The hallways reak of human urine and I have not seen a single cleaning cart, cleaning employee, or a room being cleaned in this nightmare of a week here. Health hazard is an understatement. I paid 999.00 to stay in a cesspool.

Family stayed here a few weeks ago for my Moms funeral. My dad used the website to get multiple rooms for 3 nights.after Allie with no customer service skills wouldn't allow us to block rooms for family coming from all over, we used the website.

We attempted to stay again tonight due to my grandmothers passing now a couple weeks later for just 2 nights and 1 room. I live in MD, had a MD ID. They would not allow my husband and I to stay there due to my Dad who is a Mountville local being the one who was paying for our room.

I asked why and her response was "because it says on the sign". That is not an answer. Someone from the office kept mumbling stuff to the unprofessional front desk lady. My aunt then said she would pay since she is from OH. They still wouldn't allow it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We went to Sleep Inn nextdoor (owned by same company) and had ZERO issues. We were told later Mainstays Suites says the locals are trash so they wont allow locals. Well my family is not trash. So we took our money elsewhere. Rooms are outdated anyway and not comfortable.

If you are local (lancaster) this site will book you and then you find out they will not give rooms to locals.
I didn't see anything saying that on any sites, so yeah.

Very nice location. Rooms are clean and spacious. My room has a little kitchen with everything you'll need if you do want to cook. Just spending 1 night for a business trip but definitely will come back if I'm in the area for work again

We accidentally erased our room key. Had to go downstairs and call management who was really quick getting to us and super nice. Made the moment not so stressful. Suites need more blankets but overall the place is very nice, and very quiet for a temporary stay.

The hotel has a good location and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. But the entire building smells like smoke. It's in the furniture, the halls, even the elevator. Way too strong to be ignored. The bed was horrible and caved in towards the center. It's a good thing I love my wife bc we kept rolling into each other all night long. The couch in the room was terrible. It sits really low and the cushions sank into the frame while sitting on it. Stayed here with two other couples who had the same or similar complaints about each of their rooms as well.

This location may be cheaper than other hotels in the area but I highly suggest you spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.

Awful hotel. Outdated amenities and cost cutting at every corner. Gym closed, no real coffee creamer, a total waste of a stay. Couldn’t be more disappointed. Accidentally walked into the Sleep Inn Suites first, I regret not staying there.

The staff was helpful. The breakfast was a big disappointment. They're still using covid for an excuse not to have a better selection.

I really loved my stay here. Very helpful & friendly staff, the rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The price for the rooms is very good.

I had the pleasure of staying at this location for 10 days. The GM Leigh was the most helpful host we have ever had. She made us feel at home/welcome from day one. The staff was very friendly as well. It was so nice to have coffee made fresh all day along with breakfast every morning. The location was very clean and neat. I will look forward to staying again in the future for sure!

My husband and I were there for his work about 2 months. If I could give a 10 star I would. What a fantastic place. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome. The place is clean and tidy. We will for sure stay again if we are in the area.

It’s impossible to talk to someone on the phone here. They never pick up always outside on a smoke break. Very unprofessional place to stay.

Arrived with my wife and 4 year old and the WHOLE building smells like cigarette smoke. Half hotel, half long stay apartments. Booked through AAA because they had a good rating. The breakfast that is pictured is NOT the breakfast that is served. The pictures of the hotel make it look 1000X better then it actually is. WAY TO OVERPRICED for what it is, belongs in the 40$-70$ a night range not the 100$ + range.

We loved this stay. We booked a 1 queen suite and the room had a spa tub. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It had tvs in each room, kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave, a pull out sofa and a beautiful view out the window. They also offer a grab and go breakfast. The only bad thing was that the choice website advised of truck parking but there is not much space to park.the truck parking is probably big enough for 1 or 2 trucks.

I got a room at the MainStay Suites because I needed something affordable that would give me some peace and quiet. It checked the box for me. Check in desk was super friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Note: this is not a five star hotel so it was slightly dated but functional. I would stay here again, no questions asked.
