Majestic Hall, Philadelphia PA

The operation of how this hall is ran needs improvement. It was hectic with parking and 3 events going in at one time. There needs to be better communication with the owner and the workers. The parking lot isn't big enough to accommodate the guests cars which made a lot of the guests complain. At the end of the day, the nephew of the owner was pleasant and so were the 2 ladies that helped cleaned the hall.

Womens bathroom had NO LOCKS or hooks on the plywood doors, toilet paper on the back of the toilet tank or on the floor. Atmosphere of the people was comfortable.

Place was clean, people complained about the lack of heat but I understood due to pandemic, air is being circulated more than heat because there are no windows. I'm always layering my clothes so I was comfortable. I don't know the cost of the facility but have attending affairs in all of the halls on this premises. Since the last time I was there, they've built a three foot high stone wall directly in front of the entrance/ exit of which was a concern for me & a disabled person as well as for fire safety.

Bathroom a little ghetto, it needs more mirrors and smell goods, sanitizer, pads etc. Staff not friendly when you enter

I have known the owner for quite some time. I've had several events at the majestic ballroom. Each time the place was always clean everything was available and ready. On top of that it's always plenty of parking. It's always a joy doing business with him. He had me and my family laughing the whole time talking to him. IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE Thanks DOC ️

I went to view this place for my fathers repast. The owner was rude and they had roaches. Don’t do it. It not well kept. He only want money.

I attended a wedding here last week. My Vonnaboos ceremony was ABSOLUTELY Beautiful. This rental hall is very beautiful inside.from the outside it may not look like it was it really is.i dont know too much about the staff, but the wedding rehearsal ran over time and they let it for a little bit.the space is also pretty big. Vonnaboos was So Very Beautifullist and this venu fit her to the t for it was GORGEOUS as wells!

We had my cousin sweet 16th birthday party? Here and we all had a blast love this place it was my second time being there because one of my cousins got married here in 2019

Last Saturday, I attended our PA Baptist State Convention Annual Luncheon. Due to COVID we haven't had one in 2 years. So we all had a good time fellow- shipping with one another.

Doc was super friendly. He was a gracious host also. He provided exceptional customer service throughout the entire experience. Would certainly do business with him again.

If was a ok place a very close family friend had thier repass thier i would use if as a place for a sholwer or Bday party it was very spacious with high cielings and a kitchen.sorrry i did not take any pics at the repass

If I could give him zero reviews I would. I have been trying to tell anybody who would listen to not book this place. I will have him shut down. I thought I was going to have my dream wedding at this place then the pandemic happened and he never refunded us out money and we payed in full. He owes us 3,000 dollars. We have called showed up and even have tried to take him to court Noone will help us. The court said they can't do anything without a home address. I will get my money back eventually. He is crazy and needs to be shut down immediately. DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM!

I was disappointed that the place is no longer kept well in the area of cleaning. Also it has lost its flare. Pleanty of parking

I should have listened to the reviews, and I’m begging anyone thinking of booking this hall, LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. I spoke with who I am assuming is the owner and he was extremely condescending but I didn’t think much of it. We went over details and he specifically told me he had an event time from 7pm-1am. We laughed on the phone about how that’s really late and we would probably be out way before that. Since I live out of state I told my mother to call him to schedule a time to drop off the downpayment to secure the date. He goes on to tell her that 7pm is the set up time! So the event that we agreed would start at 7pm now had to be pushed back 2 HOURS because he booked an event before that time where HE would need an hour to clean afterward. So when I called back to verify he tries to talk over me to cover his lies instead of trying to accommodate his client for an overbooking on his part! Then hung up on me saying he wouldn’t do the event because WE WERE BEING COMPLICATED. I’m glad I dodged the bullet and never gave him any of my money! Save yourself the trouble and RUN far away from this unprofessional mess of a place!

I had a pretty good time here. It needs some work the room we was in but overall it was nice the way my friend had it setup

This place was dark the bathroom was smelly and it was extremely cold in there it actually felt like we was outside.

Good event space with parking. Just don't expect to get in early I mean not even 1 minute, lol. 7 means 7, lol. The lady that runs it at night can be, let me say, "rough at times" but she is mostly very accommodating. I've catered for several event here and haven't had any issues.
"Knocks on wood" lol.definitely worth a visit if your looking for venues.

The place was very clean as well as smell fresh. The ladies was clean and stocked. It's a place that I would rent to have an event. Like soon and the location was easy to get to.

Large venue space with lots of standing room. Discrete location and parking lot. Owners were attentive and present to event host needs. Everyone attending definitely enjoyed themselves. Byob and byof venue space.
