Mama Lena’s Pizza, McKees Rocks PA

Horrible customer service. Completely sent the wrong pizza when called to get replacement the woman kept cutting me off repeatedly telling me I was wrong that’s not what I ordered. The pizza was dry and not worth the money at all. I will never order from them again. I can’t believe the horrible customer service by the lady. For a local family restaurant who’s been in the Rocks for so long she should be ashamed of how she handled the issue. If you order from them hopefully you get the correct food if not no correction will be made

We ordered lunch for work and the pizza took far too long to get delivered. The delivery driver seemed like she was on something and the pizza must have fallen off the seat because the cheese was all in one corner of the box. We called and spoke to the manager who was just as useless. Do not order from this place

Pizza slices were large in size, I just didn't like the taste. I should also add that the Pizza had some burnt ends and didn't look very satisfying. If I were to give this place a second try, I'd go for a freshly made pizza.

By far the worst Greek salad I’ve ever come across. No lamb or any meat product and they used garbage iceberg lettuce. The only thing Greek about it was the dressing. No feta cheese either shredded America and something else. Definitely not worth $14.

If ordering stick to pizza or hoagies cause those are amazing. Not every pizza shop and make a good salad.

Food was alright but expensive.
The dining room is closed and they want to be triple sure you know there is no public bathroom.

The staff here are great fun people. I go here almost everyday after work for two slices of their steak ranch pizza. It's heaven

Pizza is legit New York style. Food is on point and has a balanced fresh taste. The slices don't flop when you hold it like most around here. I took off 1 star only because the place could use a deep clean.

I was pleasantly surprised! Remembered Mama Lena’s when I was young and thought I would give it a chance! Bought 3 pasta dinners and we were blown away by how good it was. Even the side salad was great. Will definitely go again. I am about a half hour away but worth the drive.

I ate my first hoagie here, and their Italian hoagie was great. It's not a sophisticated sandwich, but at $7 there's a lot of flavor and fills you up.

I wanted to try this place because I seen so many good reviews " So I said to myself let me treat myself tonight" biggest mistake and waste of money.

Were swimming in 3 inches of cooking grease like someone put the wings in the box then put all the grease in the pan right along with it. NEVER WILL I WASTE MY HARD EARNED MONEY AGAIN" Foxes is right around the corner you can't fail with them.

Usually the food is good but yesterday I picked up a pizza which was not that good extra thin also like cardboard we threw it out

Mama Lena's is my favorite place when I lived in the Rocks! Now that I'm back in the Burgh, I finally got to get my Italian wedge.and it is fire! I'm do glad I was able to stop and get something to eat! Definitely will go back again!

Back in the day, when Mama Lena’s was at the McKees Rocks bridge and Mama, herself, regularly oversaw the works, I was a Pittsburgh transplant searching for the best of the best, and just happened to stumble in one evening after a game looking for a pizza fix. Did I say fix? Well, I left with an addiction—whether a regular pie, terrific hoagies, or my ultimate, the Sicilian, Mama Lena’s became my go-to. Business meeting? Mama Lena’s. Date? Mama Lena’s. Visiting from out of town? Mama Lena’s. So when I left the ‘Burgh, I was crushed, and while I found plenty of good pizza in my new metropolis, it just wasn’t Mama Lena’s. While I was away I heard rumors they closed, then, that they moved, and I promised myself that when I did return to Pittsburgh, I’d seek them out for my Sicilian Jones—flaky, almost pastry like thick crust, perfectly seasoned sweet sauce with subtle kick, and just the perfect amount of whole milk (not oily) cheese. Lo and behold, on a Rocks corner not far from the OG restaurant, was Mama Lena’s II! Same incredible pizza, with Mama’s family still behind the counter doing it just the way I remember—and just the way she would have. Bonus they remembered me—and the old Bronco I drove to grab my pies—and I literally shed a tear of joy as I bit into my first piece in 15 years. I say skip the typical joints profiled everywhere, the rigged top 10 and pay to play Yelp reviews, and be adventurous—it’s not the best neighborhood in the ‘Burgh, but sure as hell has the best pizza in it!

Just had one of the best meatball sandwiches I ever had. Giant homemade meatballs nice sauce, on a fresh hoagie bun. Very good stuff. From the deli.went to the pizza location and had an amazing steak hoagie. Huge.

My hometown favorite. Real pizzeria-style pizza. Whether it's pizza, wings, hoagies, or pasta, anything you order will be awesome! Try the Robbie wings!

Definitely worth the trip. The food was still hot when we got home. Tasted great! This is my second trip there.going back again
