Mamma Mia's Pizza, Scranton PA

Now I’m not from the area, I’ve lived here a few years. I’ve stayed away from old forge style, and sweet sauces because I wasn’t really a fan. But I ordered some garlic Parmesan knots, and tried the side of sweet sauce by itself with the knots which are both separately, and together phenomenal. Which excited me to try the pepperoni pie, and I have to say it was the most satisfying pizza experience I’ve had since I moved here.

More of a takeout place, I've never stayed to eat there. My daughter and I always get 12 cut square pie. She hides pieces as soon as we get it home so we don't finish it in one shot. Great for breakfast in the toaster oven next day.

Infested with rats food left out all night not covered up place is disgusting inside border health needs to go there look at the pizza containers rats eating out of pans all night long

Sweet sauce and one of the top 5 pizza's I've had in the area which is saying a lot because there are a lot of pizza places in the area.

The only reason I'm giving them one star Is because the hour of operation the website says they open at 11 AM it is now 12 0 5 and the places locked up tight When I asked around somebody had said they open whenever somebody shows up who knows when that will be, What kind of what kind A business operates this way They're losing thousands of dollars What a shame

Had thus pizza delivered to work. Perfect and arrived hot! Delish. Sweet sauce but not too sweet which is perfect.

Although this is a (mom and pop) type of pizza place that is a little hard to find if your not looking for it, it is worth it. I've seen previous reviews that complain that they use a sweet sauce not savory.well you have a right to your opinions, you do, but welcome to Pennsylvania. You'll find most places around here use sweet sauce. Around here it's a bigger seller. As for the staff, I've found them to always be amazing. Which leads to you can't make everybody happy. I've gone there many many times. The only thing I'd like different is for the cheesteaks to be a bit more full. I've gone in there on lunch breaks till my company relocated and talked to the amazing counter people for quite awhile. There very friendly. I don't get to stop in as much now but I will continue to do so as i can. Mamma Mia Staff-Thank you for the service, the food and the good talks.

Favorite place when I want to change it up ordering pizza in scranton because they have the unique "sweet" sauce that always hits the spot! Love Mama mias pizza & also love their boneless wings as well!

Called for pizza tonight and placed my order. 2 trays, 1 hot wing & 1 plain. 18 mins after my order was placed they call me back male on the line said that my residence was too far and past Taylor. I said I'm in Southside and you've delivered here before and he said its showing 25 mins away! Then a women gets on the phone and tells me the I'm outside delivery area. I advised that I've ordered 10 times, all delivery! She put me on hold for 4 mins came back and said due to being extremely busy she.couldnt tell me when they could deliver to me! This is horrible service and they tried making up excuses to not deliver to me. You lost me as a customer and I'll advise anyone i know in your area not to order from you! Support small business only when its convenient for them!

This place has Great Pizza & Hoagies. I have been going there for Years. I also know the owner (John). Keep up the good work my friend!

Searched for this place and the pictures of the pizza looked great. Order a personal size pizza with sausage. Cons: 1.there were only three small sausages on my pizza and not enough to even chew. 2. The pizza did not have much flavor. It was nice a saucy, but cheese and sauce was not savory. 3. Price on cardboard container says $6.00, but was charged $6.90 w/o tax. It's a cardboard box. Just update the price for clarity
Pros: 1.it was hot when I picked it up. 2. The crust was nice and crunchy.

Pizza sauce is very good.
Chicken parmesan was very tasty as were the chicken strips.

Pizza is great if you catch them open. Their website says 11: 00-9: 00. Yea right. I think they open when they feel like it. Hours are very erratic. Might just stop calling altogether.

Just ok. Mamma Mia's used to be my go to for decent pizza but the last few times we've ordered was disappointing. I won't give up on them just quite though!
