Manayunk Brewing Company

The kind of place that would rather comp free meals for influencers than pay its employees. Management is horrendous and the place is sketchy. I highly suggest avoiding the place for any employment purposes, and for dining purposes too if you want to be certain your servers are fairly compensated and following proper food-handling procedure.

Follow-up Edit/Response: I had personally contacted manager Coco on multiple occasions and had come in person on multiple occasions and even came by to ask specifically what to do about my taxes since I didn’t know if payment would ever come but was ignored and waved off every time. Meanwhile I was forced to pay for my uniform and parking and gas do commute. Luckily one meal a day was free (in an over 8 hour shift) during your training period. I thought these investments would pay off once/if I started getting paid but never saw a dime, and simply never returned after Coco waived me off for approximately the 7th time when I asked about my pay. I waited and followed up for nearly two month and she continually blew me off. These requests were both in writing and in person.

It was a great combo, a mixed crowd including young families and older adults and the stylishly young. Food was great, loved Flatbread with brie and arugula. Good music, low enough to chat easily around the table.

Fun times.we went for a pre-graduarion lunch and was perfect. Definitely a place we would return to without the full family to enjoy the food and drinks!

Surprisingly I've never been here. I was meeting some friends after a bike ride so I grabbed a beer and a veggie burger. The draft beer selection was good and the veggie burger was homemade as where the chips. Bartender was nice guy too. Definitely a nice atmosphere by the river.

The place is amazing and a fun atmosphere to be in a group setting. However, the food is mediocre.

I have been at the Manayunk Brewery Co more than a hundred times and plan on returning often. This night, the service was excellent at the outside bar with Tim and his partner and the atmosphere was also very good. However, the street Corn dip was unusually very dry, and I didn't finish half of it. Usually the food is good enuf to make it a 5 star night

It honestly bums me out to write this as I used to really enjoy it here. I understand they’ve been out through the ringer ever since losing their brewing equipment in the flood. But, the beer selection they have is very limited and from what I could tell hasn’t changed much over the past year. The hostess had to be hunted down in order for us to be seated. My wings were soggy and served with rancid blue cheese. The fries were extremely salty. And the pork belly in the tacos was pretty tough. The booth style seats have EXTREME wear on them and look terrible. The men’s bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. And the service wasn’t anything special. This place used to be so fun and inviting and it has just gone down hill.

I was there this past weekend for a wedding and had the best time! The food was amazing. The service was impressive but I have to say my favorite part was the two gentleman they have running their parking lot. Brandon and John were hilarious and super helpful. Honesty, I would order them both if they were on the menu!

Great atmosphere, and food was shockingly great! I loved the calamari, the fried veggie zucchini sticks were delicious, the fried fish great, the fries great, the salad was okay. Service was slowwwwwwwwww and they didn't split our bill so with a group of 7 and 400$ it was hard trying to split it three ways. The waitress kept disappearing and was slowww. The drinks were really weak, but the blue drink was tasty. I would go back they just needed help on a weeknight. Great live music and atmosphere!

I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! I am genuinely so disheartened to write this review as Brew Pub is a staple in my weekly dinners. My favorite server was fired by management on assumption. Given no warning, no infractions, no write ups ever and was just fired on the spot. A high profile client was in the bar and my favorite server said hi to him. The server knows the entirety of Manayunk (and this isn't an exaggeration) because of the impeccable service she provided to her customers at Manayunk Brewery. The server received texts from friends asking if there was a wait and she told them to come on in. The manager assumed the server told her friends to come into the restaurant to see the high profile client. Without asking for any proof or reviewing the situation they fired her on the spot. FOR BRINGING IN CUSTOMERS. I have to emphasize that this server is a TEACHER she teaches our kids and works with our community and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. The fact that Manayunk Brewery didn't show her respect or the decency to review the situation makes me so angry.
I will no longer be dining here because I cannot support a company who treats their employees this way. I don't care who you are.

Very fun place to meet friends! Food was very good, drink selection was also nice! Waitstaff were super friendly & helpful!

I love the vibe in the restaurant. It’s nice weather yesterday to go. I wish I had entree meal instead of appetizers. I’m kinda surprised they don’t make their beers anymore. It’s like local beers menu it’s little odd. I had a hard time to find the bathroom it’s like a maze there. I had fried pickles it’s was very delicious. I saw someone had burger it looks really good and the crispy pork belly tacos I’m like should have got them lol.

Dined here 3x in the past 5 years or so. Food is consistently good. Fish tacos are great I just wish they give you 3 instead of 2 since the portions are small. Great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff.
