Ñew for this stylist, Kathleen, whom I like very much, but had
been there before and shop owner is great, however stylist Shirl IMO leaves much to be desired.
Kathleen new employee, was my hairstylist at a former business I used to go to that has closed/downsized.so I followed Kathleen 5 miles down the road to her new place of employment, because she has been consistent with my mens cut for 15+ years, and thats what its all about. I’m so blessed that Shirl had been recommended to me so many times. After visiting numerous hair salons in State College with a goal to achieve white hair- no one could/would be able to get my hair as white as it is now. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in total trying to obtain what I thought was too good to be true. My first time meeting with Shirl not only was she extremely kind and truly listened to my request but she is incredibly knowledgable and knew exactly what to do. Shirl attempted a route no other hair stylist had even thought to try. My hair is now entirely white with no yellow areas and it feels healthier than ever. I was being charged at different salons for multiple attempts at even just whitening my roots (my hair is a light golden blonde) I’ve seen Shirl twice now and I’m still not only blown away by the quality of service and products but the prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend Mane-Ly Hair to everyone. I’ve never been more impressed and I can’t thank her enough. I’m still frustrated that I didn’t go to Shirl sooner to save my time/frustration and money.
