Girl you are the bomb and I love how you examined hair I had one style I wanted but you should me a better protective style for my hair thanks for your professionalism.

She was nice we talked she makes sure you are comfortable and is nice didn't braid tight I didn't have a headache I strongly recommend her to braid your hair and did it fast

I found Maria because I was in need of finding a someone who would Loc my hair correctly, instead of it unraveling at. Maria is amazing! Not only she is a great loctician, she is very sweet and delightful to speak with. If you’re looking for someone who is detailed in their craftsmanship and enjoys what she do, Then I would highly recommend coming here. Im so glad that I went to Maria she has blessed my crown. I love my hair! I wish I could give her more stars.

If you want your hair to look nice, get someone else to do it! I did not get what I expected nor what I asked for. I gave her details showed her a picture. The only up side is that she takes same day appointment, I now know why…the braids are not the size I asked for, the length, and they aren’t neat, and to add insult to injury she added the braids in the middle and they aren’t even straight! This was a last minute decision but I’ll never utilize her services again. I wish I could give less than 1 star 0/10 would not recommend!

Displeased with my hair. Stylist put her own twist on the style I wanted and it was not satisfactory. The braids in the middle were not centered, at all, and the braids were extremely lumpy and not neat. I would not recommend unless you are getting a children’s style or something simple. The pro is they accommodate walk-ins

I’ve been braiding here in this country since 2007 and in Harrisburg since 2009. A lot of the things that I learned in and about this country is mostly from African-American women (because they make up most of my clientele), they have helped me to navigate this country as an immigrant and the mother of an African daughter. I’ve had clients for decades and it saddens me that when some new clients don’t like the pricing that I give for my styles they come online to bash my business. For months I have been braiding by myself or I have been out of the country and that’s why I don’t understand some of the reviews, especially when it says “they” or “them”. I also encourage people writing there reviews on my business as long as they have actually been to my business, I would never nor do I know how to sensor one’s opinions simply because I don’t agree with them. If I don’t have the time to do someone’s hair I won’t lie to them and waste their time but I don’t mind giving them the name of someone who might be able to.

I have never had problems with anyone in this country and I do appreciate the support, guidance and advice that I’ve received from my clients throughout the many years.

I called and asked for 5 braids without any braiding hair. I literally just needed my hair braided down for the wigs I’ll be installing. I called for pricing and was greeted with pure rudeness. They were just plain ignorant. Wouldn’t recommend

Update: I just called them back and did a fake Nigerian accent and she actually was nice and gave me a good price. She just don’t like African American women so don’t come here

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO The pricing is outrageous and the organization is very rude. They do not like African American women and I learned that when interacting with them and seeing how they behaved with other women around me. I wanted 10 cornrows with no braiding hair. I was willing to arrive with it blow dried and washed for her to start. This shouldn’t cost more that $50 (and even that is generous). She was really rude and insulted my hair. My hair is blow dried and goes blow my bra line which is goals for most women so I didn’t understand why she didn’t want to work on my hair. Anyway she priced me for $65 and continued to be rude before I left. I repeat, DO NOT GO!

Very sweet honest woman she talks to you, funny conversation she has tv for you to watch…. Takes her time give you want you want as in style you pick! On point! You pay for what you want very sweet enjoy her gets you in in out
